I asked that he email me a sales contract with the "out the door price" so that we would have an agreement. I said that I would provide a deposit and come and complete the sale in a few days. I looked at the reviews for AM and most of the recent Google reviews reference the salesman, Roy. I called AM today and asked for Roy. The response was " he is not available, how can I help?" When will he be available? R "He no longer works here". Can you provide me with a sales contract with the OTD price? R "we do not discuss numbers over the phone". I am not asking for numbers over the phone, I am asking for them in writing. R "go to our website, I will text you a link, see the sale price of $34,000 with a promotional discount of $5,000. I can help you get this discount.... are you in the military....?" The truck is listed for sale on Autotrader, 11/13/24, for $29,000.00 with a dealer fee of $1,495.00. No mention of a retail price of $34,000 and that you need to qualify for a $5,000. discount. This kind of says it all! More

Update to the glowing 5-star review when I bought the car (end result: I would buy from them again as their deal was fair, the staff friendly up front, and they are highly rated…however, I would be far more (end result: I would buy from them again as their deal was fair, the staff friendly up front, and they are highly rated…however, I would be far more mindful and dot every “I,” cross every “t,” and question EVERYTHING)…read their negative reviews and see their price shifting and pushing of extended auto warranties is a recurring theme. Summary: - best case scenario: I intentionally bought a warranty for a low mileage Toyota Prius for $3,450, forgot, was reminded by the bank, decided to cancel, met misinformation from dealership finance office, got clarification from the warranty company, then given a run around by the dealership to resolve once I provided the information to resolve the issue. - worst case scenario: make your own conclusion, because I’m not about to accuse them of wrongdoing. - likely reality: somewhere between the two More details: 1. I will not cast aspersions of wrongdoing, because they were very pleasant to work with and (after finding out the price on another website, trucar?, was the lowest price after all possible rebates and not the actual price) we made what I felt was a good deal and I was content. 2. Wow, I should have read the negative reviews. Yikes! Talk about painting a place in a bad light! Granted the dealership pricing showing on other websites (like TruCar) is misleading, that is not their fault, despite them benefiting from the error. 3. Always read the fine print, even when something is “explained” to you. I know I know to do this, but I was excited and just signing away on a reasonable deal… 4. I’m the dumb dumb who didn’t review and didn’t follow up, but I feel I was misled when I called to resolve the issue. That is my biggest point of contention. Anyway: My bank called to set up the online account and mentioned a $3,450 extended auto service contract. Hmm. Interesting. I called the dealership to cancel the $3,450 auto contract, figuring they’d still get credit for the sale, I’d have a small pro-rated drop to the $3,450 and possibly a cancellation fee…not a problem, they were good on sales, pleasant, the deal was decent, so I figured this would be a quick and easy resolution. (Hint: it wasn’t) Anyway, I call and speak to John/Jon in finance and he lets me know that he remembered the transaction (great! Let’s get this cancelled!). Nope, he tells me that the contract cannot be cancelled because it has been over 30 days. Excuse me? I asked for the auto contract company name (National Auto Care), and called them. My address was not correct and they didn’t have my email address, which explains why I never received anything from them and had no reason to believe it was purchased. I asked the representative about cancellation, and they went through the fine print with me. Page 7, section 10 allows for cancellations any time with a small cancellation fee. Wonderful! I call John/Jon back to tell him the good news, and he tells me that the paperwork is not at the dealership and instead with accounting and he would make sure to review it and be in touch. No email and no call, so I called the dealership again today to ask for a manager. My irritation is that I should not have to go through hoops to cancel something. I realize I am far from their only customer, but if they’re too busy to resolve this issue they either need to hire more people or scale back so they aren’t stretched so thin that they have customers feeling misled or like they’re going through hoops to accomplish a simple task that would bring satisfaction. I will share my experience, but I will let you all decide if this is a dealership worth engaging with. Im sure that I had a bad experience only because of Wali Fazli, but I can only base my rating on what ha if this is a dealership worth engaging with. Im sure that I had a bad experience only because of Wali Fazli, but I can only base my rating on what happened to me. This is why whenever you guys buy from a dealer, you need to cross check references. If they don’t check out, it shows an unorganized team. If they’re unorganized, this will reflect how business is done, and how long the dealership will take to give you the proper information to register your vehicle. I first reached out about a Tesla Model 3 Long Range, and since the main wear and tear on these vehicles are its tires and had about 37k miles on it, I wanted to know if they had new tires. I talked with Kim through text, who stated that the vehicle had its tires replaced when they received the vehicle. Afterwards, I had the pleasure of speaking with Wali Fazli on the phone, where we inquired about the vehicle’s tire replacement. At first he said they were going to check during a safety inspection of the vehicle (selling a vehicle while there’s no safety inspection done on it is a red flag). Wali also flip flopped his stance over and over when I told him Kim stated otherwise (another red flag when coworkers are contradicting each other on something simple). He said that the vehicle’s listed price online would only be through a One Time Payment. Not listed in the dealership’s description of vehicle, but no problem. Thats fine until they increase the price by another $6000, without including mandatory fees like doc, processing, tags etc. Then its fair game for them to add Mark-ups. Personally, I call this a shady tactic, not when they give a price that is contingent on paying it all in full, but rather when they don’t tell you that upfront. Throughout the entire phone call, Wali showed obvious red flags that are only showed by people that are new to the “dealership game”, i.e. overtalking, trying to get you inside the dealership as fast as possible without any care to your questions (in order to peer pressure you into making a purchase since youre already here”), asking for deposits, changing price, laughing when I called him out on contradicting himself, and then proceeded to tell me “Im not trying to buy this vehicle” and “So are you gonna buy or not” afterwards. That was my experience in a 20min phone call about something so simple as finding out whether if it had new tires or not and what the price would be. Im 100+ miles away from this dealership and was willing to buy if everything checked out, but this steered me in the opposite direction. Photo receipts on my Google Review. More

BEWARE of the people at Alpha Motorsports Fredericksburg. They will lie to you to sell a car. They sold me a Mercedes Benz that had previously been involved in an accident. Though I asked the Fredericksburg. They will lie to you to sell a car. They sold me a Mercedes Benz that had previously been involved in an accident. Though I asked them many times before the purchase if vehicle had ever been involved in an accident, the sales guy WALI and the manager NAS lied to me that they do not sell accident cars. I asked couple of times for the carfax report, they kept telling me they will print it for me and pushed me to continue with the financing but I should not worry because the Car is clean. Later after the purchase I found out the car has previously been involved in an accident. By then it was too late. I had already signed the purchasing contract. Then they blamed me it was my fault and that I should have done my own research. Not only that, they also lied to sell me an extended warranty, they will tell you the bank will approve you for lower rate if you purchase an extended warranty.. Now I'm stuck with an accident vehicle I never intended to buy. My advice, choose another dealership. Alpha Motorsports will mess you up. They buy accident cars from the auctions polish it up and sell them.VERY BAD and DISHONEST PEOPLE! More
