I walked into Mercedes-Benz of Union NJ last weekend and was greated by two receptionist who were extremely professional and hospitable. The receptionist introduced me to a salesperson by the name of Lenny was greated by two receptionist who were extremely professional and hospitable. The receptionist introduced me to a salesperson by the name of Lenny Inserra. Lenny was excellent. He made my car purchasing experience enjoyable and seamless. His customer service skills are impeccable. The entire process was fast, painless and professional starting from the receptionist, to Lenny, the manager, and the cashier. If you're in the market to purchase a new or Certified Pre-owned Mercedes, I would highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Union NJ and request Lenni Inserra as your salesperson. I was profoundly disappointed in the poor handling of my purchase at the Ray Catena of Union. I was promised incentives that have yet to be realized. My credit was run, although there was no need since I purchase at the Ray Catena of Union. I was promised incentives that have yet to be realized. My credit was run, although there was no need since I paid nearly half the cost of the car in a certified bank check, and the balance was financed through my bank. Among other disappointments, the salesperson ordered new plates when I made it abundantly clear that I wanted to keep my existing license plates. Although she apologized for the error, and it took weeks before my new registration arrived, I have yet to be reimbursed for the cost ($289.00). I believe I was told I would be refunded. The most distressing part of this ordeal was the lack of response to the six written complaints I sent via certified mail to the Ray Catena headquarters in Marlboro over a month ago. This silence starkly contrasts the 'Ray Catena Family Way' that the television commercial boasts about. I have been a loyal customer for 30 years, having purchased multiple cars, including an Infiniti Q70L and an S550. However, this recent purchase experience has been a complete disaster. My next course of action is to contact the Better Business Bureau. I would appreciate communication from a sales manager. More

On 2/28/24, my birthday, I have a schedule appointment and met with sales person Mia to trade my 2021 GLA for AMG GLE 53 coupe. She was well informed of the vehicle that I wanted. Without hesitation my G and met with sales person Mia to trade my 2021 GLA for AMG GLE 53 coupe. She was well informed of the vehicle that I wanted. Without hesitation my GLA was appraised and the new vehicle was purchased to be picked up in 3-4days. On Monday 3/4/2024, my insurance was transferred to the new vehicle and on Tuesday 3/5/2024, I called that the vehicle was ready for pick-up. On my arrival to pick-up the vehicle, to my disappointment she ordered the wrong color interior and she blatantly told me that the color I wanted is "tacky" however the color she purchase for me is "classy." I told her that I will not be taking the vehicle that I don't like. She went to her manager desk and return and the long of the short after telling me several times that Mercedes do not have the color that I wanted, she realized that I wasn't budging so she finally stated that there are 2 in Florida. She made a second visit to her manager's desk then returned to me stating that they will order the vehicle that I wanted and it will arrived in about 1 week or before. She printed the information and handed to me and I left without taking back the deposit I paid down on 2/28. She told me that on Wednesday 3/6 she is schedule to be off but she will be going in to take care of the transaction and she would call me with a confirmation. I did not receive any call on Wednesday. Today, 3/7, I had to call Mia since I haven't heard from her. To my surprise, very nonchalant, she replied that she is not the one handling getting the car and that she was off yesterday so she have no update for me. I said to her so if I did call , no one would reach out to me having me thinking that the car is on it's way? She replied, well is early in the day. There after I spoke with the manager Victor Koczynski, and it was unbelievable what I was hearing. This manager began by letting me know that it was not easy to get the vehicle that I wanted and that Mia order one for me and I changed my mind. I asked him to put himself in my shoes, the customer shoes, but no he continue to state that its not easy to get the car from another dealer, if he get it I may change my mind. In other words I should be blamed for the mess his sale person make or I should take whatever they want to give me. I was upset because I was totally mislead, believing that the vehicle was ordered for me and because I was rightfully upset without any apologies Victor decided that he will send me my money and will not do any further business. Extremely unprofessional, perfidious and intentionally misconstrued representation. More

Their goal is to not have anything covered under the warranty. He tried to convince me a car that's 3 years old with 1 previous owner that leased it used an off market tire sensor🤦🏽♀️ so apparently warranty. Made me sit there for 4 hours claiming they didn't have a courtesy car and the uber service was down. Then proceeded to get an uber for 4 white people and gave out 2 loaners. I was sooo late to work. They are really selling cars, but they are the worse on the service center. It takes 1 month for you to schedule a service and hours to replace a tire. I bought my wife her first Mercedes Benz from Ray Catena of Union. We just bought our first SUV also from MB of Union. This is our 5th Mercedes Benz. The "new car buying experience" is always stressful for of Union. We just bought our first SUV also from MB of Union. This is our 5th Mercedes Benz. The "new car buying experience" is always stressful for people nowadays. Cars have so much technology which makes the "experience" stressful and the choices so much harder to make. We were coming out of a leasing contract and we knew we wanted another Benz in our garage. We were not sure of the vehicle model we wanted to get This time was a little bit confusing because my wife wanted a SUV and I was looking at a sedan. I made contact with Mr. Victor Kaczynski (Sales Manager) who I know for many years. I explained him our dilemma and he invited us to see our choices. We went to the dealer, he immediately greeted us, spoke for a few minutes and had us meet with our new Sales Consultant Ms. Jessica Cohen. Jessica showed us the new cars upstairs (2nd floor). Jessica was so pleasant and professional from the start. She knew her product line very well and made it easy for us to see any vehicle we had in mind. Our first meeting went well. For our second meeting, Jessica invited us for a test drive in the SUV we had in mind. Jessica explained every detail in the vehicle with surgical precision. She made it easier for us to seal our choice of vehicle best for us. Jessica is not only professional and knowledgeable with the Benz line, she is extremely patient (walked with us, got the keys and showed us the vehicles) and attentive (she listened to our vehicle needs) . She answered every question we had, including vehicle service and all purchase options available to us in order to get into our new vehicle. After we decided on the SUV, Jessica made sure "Our SUV" will not be sold to anyone by mistake (over 100 people were interested in the MB website) while we were looking into all options from our end. Jessica was in constant communication with us to see if we needed anything else from her in order to avoid any delays during the process. Everything was approved and picked up our new SUV. Jessica made the paperwork process so easy and simple. Our vehicle was ready for delivery outside and she made sure someone from the staff (delivery team), went over all the details of the car with us. Our car buying experience at Ray Catena of Union was not only digital and seamless, but was personalized. We want to thank the GM, GSM, SM and everyone involved in the day-to-day operation at Ray Catena of Union for a wonderful job. Special thanks to Victor and Jessica for making our "car buying experience" easy. Jessica , any and all future references I may have, I will guide them your way.
