Hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. Kevin Sundstrom greeted me and in a few short hours was shaking my had and handing over the keys to a new Tacoma TRD Sport. Kevin listened to me and found the best match for me and my situation. I am amazed at how smooth and efficient the whole process was. I didn’t have to play the cat and mouse haggling that has been a major part of every dealership experience I have ever had. I was waited on hand and foot and treated like a real human and not a walking commission check. The lobby is incredibly user friendly and comfortable. I will never go anywhere else to buy. Great job Kevin and Wilsonville Toyota. Starting with Reilly Quinn and Taylor Diaz, super respectful and helpful, I requested to only use email at the beginning and that is what they did. Reilly scheduled my appointment and the rest is history. I can’t recommend this dealership enough. I had already been to another dealership and was offered a deal. After going over a few options that didn’t work for my budget, I showed Kevin the offer from a competitor and he quickly found a truck that was better than the offer and then beat the offer. Rather than pushing the higher payment and trying to sell me on that, he found a truck that checked all the boxes, especially my budget. Make sure you ask for Kevin when you go. Excellent beyond compare. More

Let’s get to the point of this review quickly: They talk a big game about customer service, but don’t care if stepping on you makes them money. My journey with Wilsonville Toyota started yesterday afternoo a big game about customer service, but don’t care if stepping on you makes them money. My journey with Wilsonville Toyota started yesterday afternoon (6/29/24). I spotted a beautiful used 4Runner on the lot. Nearing the time of upgrade of my current 4Runner I spent several hours of my Saturday going over numbers and then letting the staff know that I would return on Sunday to let my wife look over the car and finance numbers. We returned on Sunday with the 4Runner VERY much still available. We spent a couple hours going over numbers, but with a very hungry 8 year old we took a break and said we would return in a hour or so to complete our deal. While we were gone another interested party walked in a began the process of potentially purchasing the car. After returning we sat for almost another hour waiting to see if the person was going to actually purchase the vehicle (And they did). While I understand this is a business, but negotiations in good faith were trampled on. Our salesperson, Kaleb, was outstanding, helpful, friendly, communicative, and understanding. I have honestly not had a better experience with a car salesperson in the nearly 20 years I’ve been buying cars. His sales manager, Troy, well that’s another story. He talked down to my wife afterwards, telling her “I guess you learned a lesson.” I spoke with him as well. And… I guess, at least he was honest in our conversation - telling me “Well I have to run a business here and we have lots of people talk about buying a car, but don’t”. and “She drove 2 hours to look at the vehicle.” Um, I drove an hour - 2 days in a row. So, wow - me too! All you had to do was have ANY staff call us, when we had left to feed our kiddo and we would’ve said “yes” or “no” in an instant. Kaleb did call us when he returned from his lunch and we said “yes!!” Immediately. But, apparently his reach out to us was too late. Per conversation after returning we were told since we left the property, we were no longer 1st in line to purchase the car - good to know AFTER the fact. Not be harsh, but to be honest - Troy just didn’t care about doing the right thing. Unfortunately, I won’t get back the 5 hours over 2 days of time (not counting drive time) we invested in negotiating a deal or the feeling like I was betrayed. I would work with Kaleb again in a heartbeat. But honestly, that might be a difficult task if sales manager Troy is walking the floor. Just remember, Troy’s title is ‘sales manager’, not ‘customer service manager.’ Wilsonville Toyota: don’t tell people how much you care about their experience and then pull a move like this. Not a good look. Not at all. More
