Disappointed in the deceiving advertising. Purchased a vehicle from Patriot that had 2,000 more miles on it than advertised as well as other modifications they didn't tell me about. When I a Purchased a vehicle from Patriot that had 2,000 more miles on it than advertised as well as other modifications they didn't tell me about. When I asked how many miles were on it they said "just a few more, not much" but didn't tell me the actual miles on it until after I had it sent to the local Audi dealer and signed finance paperwork a few days later. The finance paperwork also showed the advertised miles on it instead of the actual miles. I had the vehicle inspected by the local Audi dealership for a pre-purchase inspection to which they found a few things that I was not told about by Patriot as well as repair issues/recommendations. (Patriot said they did their own inspection and the vehicle was "good to go". When I asked Patriot about getting these things taken care of, they just said "no" and that was the end of the conversation. I even offered to split some of the cost, but still it was a "no". They claim they didn't know about the issues, but I subsequently learned that they did know and they chose not to address them. I had more dialogue with one of their reps asking me how things went with the sale after the fact and I gave my honest thoughts. The gal said she would send my response to the management, but I never heard from Patriot again. After they got my money that was the end of discussions. When I showed up from out of state (on the date and time I stated I would be there) to take the vehicle on a test drive before buying it, it was on fumes so I had to go pay for gas just to take it on a test drive, real classy..... I still like the vehicle, but was very disappointed Patriot was not completely honest with me about a few things. I do appreciate one of the Patriot employees picking me up at the airport and the courteous sales guy Tristan. The sales guy Tristan was just doing and saying what the bosses wanted him to say, so I guess I can't fault him for that. I guess what can you expect from a car dealership. This response is being posted 3 weeks after purchase. Note to buyers... do your homework, ask questions and get confirmations. More
