Got my car, 2/20/21. I thought my loan was with TVA turns out after 2 months, when I went in to pay, I found out I was turned down. Ted Russell Nissan repoed my car, after I called them and told them TVA cou out after 2 months, when I went in to pay, I found out I was turned down. Ted Russell Nissan repoed my car, after I called them and told them TVA couldn't find my loan. Then made me pay $500.00 plus a tow fee for their mess up. If I walked away I would have to let them keep my $3300.00. Thank goodness for another finance company who helped me out. Please don't buy a car from them you will regret it. They will rip you off.!!!!! More

As a two time buyer, single woman who has bought alone here; you will find integrity that puts you at complete ease & that car buying can be JOYFUL! They are the ONLY dealer in town that has the availabilty & selection on their lot, and as a long-time seasoned sales person, Tommy truly listens to your needs & takes the care to find you exactly what you are looking for! Every staff member that I have had the pleasure of working with exudes excellence & customer satisfaction every step of the way through both of my purchasing processes. --- they KNOW what going the extra-mile REALLY means! Value is placed upon you the customer. Negoiating a fair price & working with finance will not be painful. They truly want to see you keave happy because they want you to tell others. This is how this dealership operates. They build it (have the inventory they do) like the "field of dreams" because they sell cars...the RIGHT way! Service I have used Ted Russell's service department ever since I bought my 2014 Titan new at their dealership. I have had nothing but great service every tim I have used Ted Russell's service department ever since I bought my 2014 Titan new at their dealership. I have had nothing but great service every time. Sales guy was awesome, rest of the experience not so great! We went to this lot looking for a Nissan NV 3500 (the 12 seat passenger van) and when we got there we were greeted by Austin who was an awesome salesm We went to this lot looking for a Nissan NV 3500 (the 12 seat passenger van) and when we got there we were greeted by Austin who was an awesome salesman, he made us feel welcome and at ease the whole time we were there. The bad part was he kept saying things were going great, which he didn't know the details of the "deal" that the credit/finance guys were doing. We went in to do paperwork with Ehab, who I will say was extremely rude, pushy, and not friendly at all! We didn't like the price and were ready to leave as we had stated what we needed our payments to be in...he assured us that in 6 months we should refinance through a local credit union and our rate would go down thus lowering the payment so reluctantly we agreed. 3 business days later a letter from that local credit union appeared in our mailbox with a denial...noone ever mentioned that they had already tried to run it through this credit union! We were also told gas mileage and tank size were much different then what it actually is. While I am happy with the vehicle in terms of size and space, which is why we looked at it, I am not happy with the lies that we were told or that were hidden from us nor the payment. This is the second bad experience we have had with Nissan in general and I will tell everyone I know this! The first bad experience I will note was with a different dealership, but just gives us a very bad taste for Nissan in general. Now we are stuck with this car for the next few years and haven't had it a week and already a bad taste due to this whole experience! More

The people we dealt with at Ted Russell all did well by us. Austin Hill listened to my wife's requirements and showed her the vehicle that met them. We recently purchased a vehicle from Ted Russell Nissan in Knoxville, Tennessee. The following week there was a call from the finance person. They had given my husband the wrong contract. The person said s in Knoxville, Tennessee. The following week there was a call from the finance person. They had given my husband the wrong contract. The person said she was new and had pulled out a contract they no longer use. Being a former Realtor and familiar with contracts this seemed odd and unnecessary. I even questioned the purpose of needing a new contract and why we were not amending the original contract; however, my husband went in and signed this new contract careful to make sure they had not changed any of the terms. (This *new* contract was dated, not for the day he actually signed the contract by the way, but the date was from the prior week.) Shortly after leaving the dealership, the same person from the finance office called again. She said, “We are sorry Mr. ______, but we just realized we made another mistake on the contract. The amount was too low. You actually need to pay us more money. You need to come in so that we can redo the contract. I believe this is called Bait and Switch. Let me add that in the past 10 years we have purchased 4 new Nissans. We have always been loyal to the brand. No longer based on this experience. We returned the car even though we had a legally binding contract because we were being harassed by the dealership. This was an unpleasant experience that has really made me see car purchasing in a different light. Tread carefully with these people. More

This dealership was a very friendly environment with no pressure like other dealerships I've encountered. I purchased a used car from Tommy Kinsler. Let me say, I shopped everywhere and just could not find the right ride for me. I ended up stopping by Ted Russell Nissan one day and Tommy was so much fun to deal shopped everywhere and just could not find the right ride for me. I ended up stopping by Ted Russell Nissan one day and Tommy was so much fun to deal with. He made the experience fun. His manager drove my trade-in and he put more in my vehicle than any of the other dealerships I had shopped at. Plus he actually came over to me and set down and told me a little history about Nissan and his experiences working for Ted Russell. I find it important when the manager of the dealership gets involved. The staff at Ted Russell Nissan really care about making a great deal for a customer and care about your service needs after selling you a vehicle. I would highly recommend if you live in Knoxville you must go to see Tommy to deal on a vehicle because he made the whole experience so much fun. More

I purchased and 2012 titan from ted Russell in november 2012. After price of fuel was on the rise, I decided to trade on a new 2013 pathfinder.
