This was our first time at A Gates Facility. From the moment we drove in we were very impressed. The Grounds are immaculate, the personnel were all friendly, welcomed us like old friends. Tomas was truly interested in us and and matched us to the Nissan that fit our needs. The facility inside was spotless even at 7:00 PM. at night. All the personnel were neat and polished. We have not been to a facility like this before. This was a great experience. Every one bent over backwards to put a deal together and make this car buying experience as pleasant as possible. There was never any pressure from Tomas to purchase like you get from other dealerships,And was probably the second reason I purchased the GMC.The first was the reasonable pricing and trusted that you feel from the entire group at your dealership starting with the General Manager, Salesman and the fiancial dept. You could tell that the dealership has grown and the people that work there are proud of the success that they have had. After searching for a truck in the past two weeks, I made calls to several dealers in the nearby Conn. area and parts of R.I., I ran into several dealerships that were helpful but could not deliver the truck calls to several dealers in the nearby Conn. area and parts of R.I., I ran into several dealerships that were helpful but could not deliver the truck I was looking for at the right price. Some did not even return phone calls, I was ready to buy used instead of buying new, only because with used you have to settle for whats out there. When I called your dealership I spoke with Thomas Gates and he was very helpful and honest and was also willing to negotiate a fair price with out having to make sacrifices on the truck quality and options. Very nice guy! I also appreciated the owner introducing himself and all of the people who came up to me because I wore a Patriots Jacket who wanted to talk about the Team! I TOLD THEM IT WAS GOING TO BE A BLOW OUT against DENVER :) The Finance manager was also very nice I believe his name was Nick, walked us through all of the forms and was very quick. I saw a car on Autotrader that I was interested in, and sent an email inquiring about it's availability. Tomas replied and informed me it was still available, and we setup a time for me to come look at it. sent an email inquiring about it's availability. During our email conversation he mentioned he had just taken another one in on trade, that was 1 year newer with a few more miles but would be in the same general price range. When I arrived to look at the Silver Corvette I had seen, I saw the additional Vehicle he mentioned was a Black Corvette. This one was a 2008, and loaded with every option, and extra concievable...and was ultimately the one I went with. The entire process was very friendly, anpother gentleman, Brian Howe, working with Thomas even made me a cup of coffee, and grabbed my son a coke. He was also a very friendly, helpful gentleman and the small gesture of the coffee and a coke really made my son and I feel like we were dealing with more than salespeople...but actually friends. Was a great experience, and any friend I know who is in the market for a new vehicle, and my family as well in the future, I will remember your dealership and tell them it's worth the ride to see what you have on the lot. The ONLY thing I would recommend to you, and it's not really a knock....but a Car of a class such as a Corvette should never have a large dealer sticker plastered on the body. The plate frame is one thing, and I will keep that on the car to spread the word for you guys....but I spent a half hour when I got the vehicle home removing that sticker, as I informed the sales team I would if it was there. Easy enough to remove, so not a big deal...but just hoping it helps you to know that a Corvette driver most likely wont want anything but the crossed flags appearing on the paint. More
