brought a highlander in for 15,000 mile service. They forgot to check the engine air filter or the cabin air filter. This generally should be replaced at about 15,000 anyway. i checked myself and it was forgot to check the engine air filter or the cabin air filter. This generally should be replaced at about 15,000 anyway. i checked myself and it was in poor shape, dirty and cracked. I brought it back and spoke with SERVICE Manager TOM KULESA. Tom was not friendly, accused me of damaging the filter, but acknowledged the receipt had no indication that it was checked. He was shown the condition and although he is not a mechanic he just said that it looked fine. The bottom line they didn't bother checking and rather than apologizing they chose to blame the customer. I have been buying Toyotas for 35 years , have owned 8 of them . I will not come back here to buy or service again. They failed to document their work and then made up excuses. Oh and by the way , don't believe that they wash the cars as promised, each time I come the car wash system is "not available" Oh, and the service staff rarely bother with masks. The service manager did not have one on even though he was standing 2 feet away . More
