My sales person was very professional and answered my questions. Very helpful so I could understand the difference in the vehicle’s I was looking at. After making a selection the manager helped work out questions. Very helpful so I could understand the difference in the vehicle’s I was looking at. I met salesman, Reed Raleigh, and during the next hour, I informed him that I wanted to buy five new Mercedes-Benz cars for each of my children. I intended to cash in my retirement CD to provide my children with their inheritance and allow them to pick the cars themselves at this dealership. After signing the contract, I was taken to the Plaza Dealership Business Manager. Mr. Chad Trulove II where I was offered three addition service contracts. Mr. Trulove indicating I was being given a special price. He emphasized that if I didn't take advantage of this offer now, it would go away. Unfortunately, I was unable to see the cost on Mr. Trulove's computer as the blank ink print was covered by a green highlighter. Despite finding the fees extremely high, Mr. Trulove explained that the cost for each oil change alone was $800 on this car , and he was offering a package deal for approximately $600 for each for the four oil changes. Concerned about the prices, I asked Mr. Trulove “THREE” times if I could cancel these service agreements if I changed my mind. He assured me three times that I could indeed cancel then as long as they were not used. I said ok that would be the only way I would purchase them if I were able to cancel them. I inquired about putting $5000 for these service agreements on a credit card to get the perks, to which he agreed I pulled out the credit cards and pay $5000 on one credit card for the first car. I informed Mr. Trulove that I needed to write a check for the balance due of the cost of the car and then addition cost not covered by the credit card limit of $5000. Before I wrote the check I requested the dealership to hold my check until the following week, allowing me to cash my retirement CD and deposit the funds in my bank on Monday, October 2, 2023. I emphasized that if the check was cashed sooner, it would bounce. I asked Mr. Trulove “SIX” times, and on the last occasion, he raised his right hand and swore he would hold my check until the following Friday of 6 October 2023. . Unbeknownst to me, Mr. Trulove deposited the check on the same day, causing it to bounce that day. I have no idea why in the world he would do that after saying six times he would hold it. On the next business day, October 2, 2023, I returned to the dealership with my wife and son to purchase the second car. After signing the contract, we were directed to Mr. Trulove's office, where he once again offered three service packages for the second car. I reiterated the question THREE times, asking if I could cancel these three packages, and each time, he confirmed that I could. I always ask important questions multiple times to ensure clarity. On my way home, I stopped at my bank and discovered that Mr. Trulove had cashed the check, the day it was written resulting in a bounce check. I called Mr. Trulove by phone but he was not taking my calls. I called the salesman, and he indicated that he had informed the General Manager, who assured me they would cover the bounced check amount. I then informed the salesman that I intended to return to the dealership to cancel those service agreements. II believe in retaliation Mr. Trulove took 45 days to get me my title work I contacted Mercedes Benz CEO in Atlanta Georgia before he would see me and agreed to cancel the three service agreements. He lied to me he never canceled anything. I made dozens of calls and my Trulove and the General manager all refused to call me back. I'm of the option this dealership is a scam company. The scope of this massive scam is too great to put in this small block. So it has been cut in half. I contacted the CEO once again only this time a lady representative said she would help me but I don't trust her. Sorry, Can not file this doc. unless I rate individual at the Chesterfield dealership and not O'fallon More
