The day after we bought it there has been a Uconnect box error. Took 3 weeks just to have it looked at. Was supposed to be contacted about a loaner for them to look at it again but that was 7 weeks ago. I have called 3 times to have someone say they will look into and call back but have yet to get a call back.

We were told 3000 miles bumper to bumper warranty. We were also told to just call with any questions or concerns. We noticed while driving in the sun that the windshield was covered with chips, like it had been in a sandstorm. There were also some other minor things that were covered by warranty. However, when we took it in they gave us a big line about not fixing any of it and said they would call us about what might be fixed. That was a month ago and we have heard nothing! We paid over $300 to replace the windshield. We are totally unhappy with this dealer.

buyback and Brad Deery agreed to reimburse me for my interest paid on the vehicle I never even made it home with as the buyback does not cover this in the State of Iowa. I got there and they refused, they agreed over text just days prior…the proof is in the text message from their Service Manager, Tim
Things went down hill really quickly after the sale as I didn’t even make it the 45 minute drive home. I test drove the vehicle, signed the paperwork and didn’t make it more then 10 miles outside of town before loads of dash lights were coming on, sensors were tripping and the vehicle was not driving as it should or maintaining RPM’s. I was assured my car would be looked at first thing Monday. Monday came and went, I called and they had no updates. I called again on Thursday and they said my vehicle had not been looked at yet but he would call me later in the day with an update. Nothing. This cat and mouse game of Deery (Joe the sales manager) promising to call me with updates and me having to call back 3-4 times just to be told my vehicle hasn’t been looked at yet went on for over a month. They replaced a part, but something happened upon test driving it and it had to be looked at again. Then after another 2 weeks, they replaced something else and were going to bring me my car later in the day…guess what, the driver had to turn around because the issue wasn’t fixed. Did I get a call? No, they told me when I called because they didn’t arrive at the agreed upon time. With no more then a “hey, we thought it was fixed”, from Deery. It’s not just that they have really crappy communication but they knowingly sold me this vehicle, issues and all and have offered no support after purchase. 4.5 months of car payments, interest, tax, title & registration, insurance while being without my vehicle purchased from Brad Deery.
I bought a car and all I got was a picture…

Katey,
We want to address this to the best of our ability. Firstly, we genuinely empathize with the challenges you faced with your vehicle, and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused during this process.
It is important to note that, as a dealership, we don't manufacture the vehicles we sell. However, we do take responsibility for ensuring our customers' satisfaction to the best extent possible. In your case, when it became evident that there were significant issues with your vehicle, we went above and beyond to advocate for you in securing a buyback from Stellantis. We understand the challenges you faced, and we did our best to facilitate a resolution.
We provided you with a loaner vehicle at no cost to you during this period, even though we could have charged for that service or simply not given you one at all. Regarding the interest reimbursement, we acknowledge the agreement made with our Service Manager, Tim. We fulfilled our commitment by offering to pay $537.86 for the interest up until the point of your conversation when this was discussed on October 12th, even though we were not obligated to do so. Stellantis refused to reimburse you for any interest at all and told you it was your responsibility, so you came after us.
We genuinely value our customers, and we regret the frustration that you faced with Stellantis. If we didn’t care, we would not have given you a loaner for months at no cost to you, we would not have spent hours on the phone and writing letters & emails reaching out to everyone we could to try to help you get the vehicle repurchased by Stellantis, and we would not have offered to pay anything towards your interest. None of that was our responsibility, but to maintain a high level of customer service we did it.
However, it is essential to address when you were here today, after the Stellantis Representative left you went to Tim to demand $1,100, which is not what we discussed and agreed upon. It is disheartening to learn about the recent development of you demanding a higher amount, resorting to offensive language, and asking others to write negative reviews, which we view as an attempt to blackmail and defame us. Our intention has always been to assist you and find a fair resolution.
Sincerely,
Brad Deery Motors

What’s disheartening are the lies that you keep spewing. There was never an agreement on the interest I incurred over the 4 and a half months that I was paying on a vehicle that never made it home with me. At the time of my conversation with Tim on October 12th, he had not even gotten the approval from Mr. Deery to reimburse me. I did not hear back from Tim until November 30th when I asked if Deery was going to reimburse me. His reply was “yes, we will be reimbursing you.” No time frame or dollar amount was discussed let alone agreed to by me. But he did agree how bad Deery dropped the ball on this and left me hanging for months. When I showed him the total (which you have incorrect, by the way) he offered me 1/2. This is not something covered by law in Iowa with a vehicle repurchase so the manufacturer did not refuse, it was not an option. This leaves me to hold the dealership…the same dealership that serviced this vehicle twice March 17th and July 5th before my purchase on July 22nd because issues the vehicles was having. I have all of the service records. I was sold a vehicle that knowingly had issues and a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty from Brad Deery Motors and the remainder of the factory warranty. I did not buy a vehicle as is. I have every text and call (or lack there of) with your dealership confirming all of this while exposing all of the deception from Brad Deery Motors. And you said I was blackmailing you…Tim was the one that said he would cover the interest for the removal of my review. I was going to let this go for the interest but now I will be doing whatever I have to to make sure this doesn’t happen to someone else.
And you are very correct that I said this was xxxxx bull crap as I was exiting your dealership yesterday, after Tim told me he was going back on his word.
But keep telling people you took care of me from a customer service standpoint because you gave me a loaner from July22-September 19th (leaving me for 2 1/2 months while you had my money and the vehicle) because nobody was able to give me a ride home after I had to return the vehicle to your dealership the day of purchase.
