My Mustang was taking an overly long time to start blowing warm interior air although the engine's temperature gauge indicated a warm engine. Not a good issue going into winter. I called, talked t blowing warm interior air although the engine's temperature gauge indicated a warm engine. Not a good issue going into winter. I called, talked to Adam, and described the issue, suggesting that a system cooling flush might be in order. After hearing the details, he agreed with the cooling system flush idea, but just as a first step. He suggested that a thorough inspection of the cooling system was in order for my relatively high mileage vehicle. When I brought the car in for the appointment, I again relayed the issues to Tim. He agreed that a cooling system flush was long overdue, but also suggested a thorough cooling system inspection. He said, although the temperature gauge showed a normal warm engine temperature, there might still be additional issues causing the lack of warm air generation. Later that day, Tim called with the diagnosis. There was a steady coolant leak around the manifold and due to that leak, the coolant level was excessively low. He said that even with the low coolant level, the engine temperature gauge could still show a normal operating temperature--until the coolant would become so low as to potentially damage the engine. Glad I didn't wait on this situation any longer and I always appreciate Boucher's service department for their thorough analysis, explanation and their do-it-right-the-first-time correction of these issues. Our family's confidence in their quality of service is the reason we feel comfortable driving our well cared for, but relatively higher mileage vehicles. Thanks Adam and Tim. More
