Hello, I purchased a used “as is” $8k vehicle with 74k miles on it in my area from Peter Boulware Toyota. It broke down after less than two months. The dealership has ghosted me and refuses to return my e miles on it in my area from Peter Boulware Toyota. It broke down after less than two months. The dealership has ghosted me and refuses to return my emails, calls, and attempts to speak with managers. This week, I discovered that the car in question was taken to a local ford dealer in January with transmission issues. At the end of the service, the mechanic noted that the transmission issues were unresolved. I just received print outs of this upon receiving visiting the original dealership the car was first sold at. Carfax only shows that the transmission was chexked, not that anything was wrong with it. Peter Boulware Toyota then sold the car to me with a sticker saying that the transmission, brakes, and tires were in good condition by check mark. In fact, PB never checked the transmission because they are incapable of servicing fords. The service manager is the one that told me via text that they don’t have that capability. I was told this when I tried to bring the car in to get fixed after it broke down. I still have this text message. I can’t believe my experience and how Ive been treated, not to mention how Ive been renting a car for the past two weeks be cause my car is out of commission. More
