Everyone was so helpful and kind! Thankful was very communicative about the shipping status while we waited on my 4Runner to arrive and answered any questions I had along the way. Thankful was a very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable sales person. . I would recommend her, especially for a female car buyer. However, I had a dreadful experience with the finance gentleman. He began sales person. . I would recommend her, especially for a female car buyer. However, I had a dreadful experience with the finance gentleman. He began as very pleasant and complimentary. But at the end, he wanted to discuss 10yr and 5 year car warranties. The first cost $6,000 and the second $4000. I told him I wasn't interested. He said he had to review them with me so I listened to his pitch. When he was finished I told him I was not interested. He asked why and I told him if he continued to try to sell the warranties to me, that I would walk out. He then tried to again explain how good the warranties were so I walked out of his office and returned to Thankful. I told her I was very angry and upset that the finance guy was pushing me to buy the warranties that I did not want. She apologized, got the paperwork that I did need to sign (for the title, ths cost of the car, etc) and I left. The moral.of the story, especially for women, is refuse ro be pushed to sign something you do not want. Toyotas are great cars and don't need the warranties. I've had my Prius for 15 years. No major problems. Just tires and brakes. Update: I just read my new car warranty. The new Camry hybrid's warranty covers hybrid components for 8 years or 100,000 miles. the hybrid battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles. It also has a 36 month/36,000-mile basic warranty and a 60,000 mile/60-month power train warranty. All of this information is online. The finance gentleman told me there was only a one year/10,000 mile basic warranty and a 2 year/20,000 power train warranty. Liar, liar pants on fire. More
