We hit a snag after I took delivery of the vehicle. I picked it up from the dealership after having a DVD player installed. I drove it a few miles to a nearby mall to shop. When I finished shopping and returned to the vehicle, I wasn't able to get it to go into gear. It was 8:30 at night. He had left work and was running a few personal errands before returning home after a long day. He walked me through a few potential causes and solutions but when it still didn't work, he insisted on coming to the mall to help me. I said I could take an uber home but he would not accept that - he wanted to check the vehicle and make sure I got home safely and wasn't without a vehicle to drive. He came to the mall at 10pm to check my vehicle and bring me another to drive home. He was AMAZING! Truly above and beyond. He could have just told me to have it towed to the dealership and take a cab home. But he personally handled it and took a situation where I could have been a very dissatisfied customer (it was disappointing to have my two day old car have a problem - though I think it had something to do with installing the DVD player) and turned it into a HUGE positive. He is an excellent salesperson and provided me with outstanding service. It's a story I will share with my own employees when I talk to them about what outstanding customer service looks like. My 2017 Toyota Tacoma buying experience I was looking at another dealers truck and negotiating with them to add some additional options when Steven sent me a email inquiring how he could sel I was looking at another dealers truck and negotiating with them to add some additional options when Steven sent me a email inquiring how he could sell me the same truck. I advised him what options I wanted and he checked with his sales manager and agreed to the extra options at no cost to me. He also provided me with a better price than the other dealer who would not agree to one of the options I asked for. Steven was very professional and courteous through out my truck buying process. I'd also like to commend Gary in installation for his help. He walked through the parking with me so that I could see the 2 different types of running boards that I could chose from and I was able to see the exact kind that I wanted. Steven and Gary also showed me what another option installed would look like that I wanted. Everyone that I came in contact with were true professionals. More
