The engine light came on while we were 280 miles away dropping my kid off at school. My wife was driving that car home and was a nervous wreck wondering if it will make it home. She is not a mechanic and didn’t know what it meant so you can understand her fear in driving that home. When we got home it took a couple of days to get an appointment. I then went into Volvo now 40 miles over the 50k warranty and they charged me 350$ ( which I believe is high for dealerships to begin with) just to look at it, which it would have been free if still under warranty. I argued and they gave me a “good will” gesture of half off (which I think is a normal price to charge at a normal dealership either way it should have been free”. They told me to deal with corporate and I got Paris. She emailed me another good will gesture of $1000 off the repairs( which was an estimated 3k). I told you her disappointed I was, and we spoke on the phone. She said that corporate was punishing me because I stopped using them during the Covid years and that I wasn’t a loyal customer. I said I have all the records of when the car was serviced. I asked to speak with your manager or someone I can escalate it to. Do you remember what you said to me? Both me and my wife do. You were on speaker. You said I wouldn’t do that if I was you, they don’t like that and anyone who continues to complain they will take that Good will gesture back. Now I am going to give you one more opportunity to escalate so I can get my money back from the dealership that I had to wrongly pay for a car that should have been under warranty. Does Volvo stand behind their product or do all their engine lights come on around the 50k mark so they can milk more of their customers with outrageous prices. I paid around 189$ dollars to have my car looked at and I paid $1173.53 to fix something that all should have been free (I didn’t get the other repair because I couldn’t afford too. Corporate still refuses to even talk with me and guess what i had to bring my car back because the 1200$ repair was fixed with a faulty part. Now i had to take my car in again leave work again and be inconvenieced by an over price part that didn't even work. I will never buy another volvo again that is for sure. Their corporate doesn't care about hard working Americans just bang them over the head for shotty work. More

This is my third Volvo with Edduin being my salesperson. HE is the reason for my return each time. I want the final number and payment amount without the back and forth. Edduin was great throughout the process. Though it was a new model he walked me through the system and setting up the application. in summer of 2020 I had a few problems with my used in summer of 2020 I had a few problems with my used Volvo I bought, including the fact that I had to the unlock button dozens of time for the ca in summer of 2020 I had a few problems with my used Volvo I bought, including the fact that I had to the unlock button dozens of time for the car to open. I am not kidding if it is less than 10 times I feel like the car is functioning well, every morning when I have to leave it is usually between 20-40 clicks of the button for the car to open, now most people would say “must be the batter”… but that doesn’t make sense because at the time the car was a year and a half old, and it happened every single time with both keys, so I brought the car to Huntington Volvo to have this issue resolved, they gave me the car back the next day and told me it was a software issue and is now fixed, they were very much wrong! I contacted them back a few months later and explained to the woman who was making my new appt the situation again, and her response was “what is your phone number?” now for a company that claims through their automated that they provide “exceptional” service, I could not believe a simple apology for the matter I was dealing with could exit this woman’s mouth at the same time, so I said “everything I just explained to you are things you claimed were fixed the first time (there was an issue with the sunroof too) so you really can’t say sorry” her response was another “what is your phone number?” so in a moment of shock, after spending $35k+ on a European automobile thinking that I would receive even a shred of empathy when the service provided is up to absolutely no one’s standards seeing that my car was still giving me the same problems, I used an expletive to describe this woman’s attitude, actions and overall demeanor, since then they have REFUSED to take my car in and due the repair they promised me to begin with, when if they would’ve just taken the time to do the right thing and fix it in the first place, this issue would have never come up, since the I have also contacted Volvo of NA multiple times just to have them tell me there is nothing that they can do, as a matter of fact there is, STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT, and make the dealerships that you license your name to stand behind the product as well, as someone who was going to be in the market for a XC60 for my fiancé, I do not feel as if Volvo or any of their local dealers is deserving of my business now, and frankly I would not feel comfortable buying a bumper sticker from them after this experience More
