at Del Toyota - from the pushy sales guy to the inadequate Certified Pre-owned so called inspection to the aftermath of trying to fix it. the vehicle is fine, and I like it a lot, but the coil springs were broken, which I believe caused uneven wear on tires, and the dealership refused to rectify the situation. I bought the vehicle in June, and whereas they fixed the coil spring problem, it took them a month to get the part in and fix at the dealership. They also ordered the wrong part, despite having the VIN # that would tell them the model of my vehicle, which caused me to have to be without my vehicle for another day (even though the service manager said it would only be one - no call was given to me - I had to chase them down). The tire situation was never rectified, and I am not convinced that the tires will last 6 months. I will not be going back to this dealership - ever - they can take their free oil changes and shove it. I will also be telling anybody who will listen how bad it was. I've heard good things about this dealership - and that was definitely not my experience.

Since the inspection for your Certified Pre-Owned vehicle was performed about two months prior to your purchase, it represents a snapshot of the vehicle’s condition at that specific moment. We did address the cracked coil spring issue, and after a thorough check, the struts were confirmed not to be bent or causing uneven tire wear. It’s possible the alignment may have been out at some point, though the vehicle did have an alignment at the time of certification. To resolve the coil spring concern, we replaced the complete strut and spring assembly, as this is part of the TRD package. The parts were ordered using the VIN, but because your vehicle has the TRD accessory springs that were added after production, this led to the initial parts mix-up.
When your vehicle was in for service, we also offered to swap the tires at no charge if we had a comparable set in stock. Unfortunately, we did not have matching tires available at that time. We understand you may prefer to use your own trusted mechanic going forward, but we wanted to ensure the issues you brought to us were properly addressed.
We also understand how frustrating the delays were in completing the repair. While parts availability and supplier issues were outside of our control, we provided a rental vehicle at no cost and stayed in contact with you via email throughout the process. That said, we realize this experience didn’t meet your expectations, and for that, we sincerely apologize.

I had to initiate every phone call except for the one where the sales rep would receive their commission. The cars exterior was dirty upon delivery. Pedro was great but I didn’t see any of the financing information or costs of the vehicle, other than our monthly payment amount. My fault that I didn’t ask for it but it should have been provided, I can only hope we didn’t pay for anything we didn’t want. I was not impressed with the experience but we do love the vehicle.

Really the only issues I had was deciding wether I wanted a crossover or a truck and what color. Overall I had a great experience
