Stephen Has been with New Motors since April 2016. He graduated from General Mclane High School in 2000. Stephen began his career in customer service as a bus boy at Chi Chi's in 1997. Before joining the New Motors team he sold and delivered hand crafted hardwood furniture at The Amish Buggy. He chose to start a career selling Subarus because of the great experience his wife had buying a 2009 Legacy at New Motors. In his free time you can find him out on a golf course chasing around the little white ball, riding his bicycle around Presque Isle state park or working in his garden planting seeds and pulling weeds.

On my recommendation, due to Stephen Kolenda selling me a car in 2021, which was a great experience for me. He sold my daughter a 2020 KIA which was a perfect choice for my Granddaughter’s first car. I had an amazing experience purchasing my new 2025 Subaru Out back from Steve Kolenda, at New Motors Subaru in Erie, PA. I was comparing the 2025 Outback to the 2026, and the 2025\2026 Forester. Steve was ve Out back from Steve Kolenda, at New Motors Subaru in Erie, PA. I was comparing the 2025 Outback to the 2026, and the 2025\2026 Forester. Steve was very through describing each car's features, benefits, & price ranges. We chatted about how I planned to use my new car & what activities I enjoyed. After comparing the information, I chose the Subaru Outback Onyx XT. This fit all my wishes. Steve even showed me his personal Outback Onyx XT and shared how much he enjoyed it. Steve was very easy to work with, no pressure, very personable, & knowledgeable about all the cars I was interested in. My experience was so great, when I shared the details with my friend, she also purchased a Subaru from Steve within 2 days. I will definitely see Steve Kolenda when our family is ready for a new car!
