Write a Review1 Review of Stephen Buchter

I’ve purchased roughly ten new or used vehicles from dealerships over my lifetime, and you never really know what you’re going to get when you reach out. Sometimes you’re treated like a valued customer, dealerships over my lifetime, and you never really know what you’re going to get when you reach out. Sometimes you’re treated like a valued customer, and sometimes, not so much. When I started looking nationwide for a Kia EV6 for my family, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted. My last vehicle was purchased in 2019, and I thought with today's public reviews, reputation rankings, and pricing aggregation sites, most dealers would be hesitant to use the sketchy tactics I used to encounter. Silly me - I was honestly surprised how many of them are still playing games with serious customers who are ready to buy. That’s why I’m genuinely happy to write a stellar review for Executive Kia. The Kia corporate site showed Executive Kia had a CPO EV6 in the trim level and feature set I wanted. Their website made it easy to do my homework: the Carfax was readily accessible, they had a no-haggle price listed, and everything looked straightforward. I live about 150 miles from the dealership, so I couldn’t just drop in and see the car before deciding. But between the Kia CPO warranty and the fact that I was ready to move quickly if the price was truly the price, I reached out. The sales manager (Mike) and my salesperson (Mo) got back to me almost immediately and provided all the details I needed - in writing - so I could make an informed decision. From start to finish, the process was smooth and transparent: no funny business, no unexpected fees, and the final interest rate they secured for me was even better than their initial estimate. My son and I actually took an Amtrak to pick up the car. Mo and Steve in finance welcomed us, treated us with kindness and integrity, and nobody tried to hard-sell us on a bunch of add-ons. (I did opt for the gap insurance - yes Steve, good call.) We were in and out in about 90 minutes, and even that was only because we showed up 30 minutes early for our appointment. In 30+ years of buying cars, this was one of the best buying experiences I’ve had. I expected the car to be a dream (it is!), but I didn’t expect the buying experience to be one as well. I wasn’t compensated in any way for this review. I just believe in giving kudos where they’re deserved. A+ all around. Thanks again, Executive Kia - especially Mo and Steve. More
