I would like to express my mixed feelings regarding my recent experience at the dealership. Greg, the service manager, demonstrated professionalism and understanding throughout the process. He graciously allowed me a few extra days to arrange for a tow truck to retrieve my vehicle from the shop. Additionally, the receptionist was consistently kind and cooperative, assisting me as much as possible. However, I encountered issues with the mechanics during both of my visits to drop off my car. Their attitudes were unprofessional, and the overall handling of my vehicle raised concerns. My car was in the shop for three weeks during the first visit, during which time it was reported that the transmission had been replaced, with the costs covered by Nissan Corporate due to ongoing issues with the vehicle since its purchase less than two years ago. Regrettably, just two weeks after I received my car back, it needed to be towed back to the dealership. I was informed that there were eight critical items requiring repair, amounting to over $4,000 (this is on top of the original $9,000 bill they allegedly billed for the “new transmission”). When I inquired as to why these issues were not identified during the previous visit, which had been less than a month prior, I was told that they were not detectable through diagnostic tests until they manifested as failures. While I am not a mechanic, I have friends in the field who believe that many of these issues should have been apparent during a diagnostic evaluation. Overall, I am left with the impression that the dealership may not have fulfilled the services for which they were compensated by Nissan Corporate. This raises concerns of either negligence or potential malfeasance. Ultimately, mechanics outside of the dealership were able to repair my car for just under $1,000, and they agreed that the quality of work performed at the dealership was questionable. Furthermore, I would like to note that the new transmission has not been reflected in the Carfax report. More

Nissan of the bronx were able to fix my car after it broke down, replacing the engine. All under warranty. The new engine sound will take some getting used to. My car was at the dealership for about 20 days, although the personnel was professional when I did reach someone; it was hard to have the team working on the car call me back - i requested a callback over 3 the personnel was professional when I did reach someone; it was hard to have the team working on the car call me back - i requested a callback over 3 different times.
