Extremely Disappointing Experience – Honda of Libertyville My family chose Honda of Libertyville after my wife and toddler were in a serious car accident. We wanted a safe, reliable vehicle and trusted the Honda name. Unfortunately, this dealership completely shattered that trust. We experienced bait-and-switch pricing, were pressured out of our own pre-approved financing, and were told add-ons like Permaplate were “mandatory.” The finance manager even said “Hope you don’t get in another accident” while trying to sell us gap insurance—knowing what my family had just been through. The vehicle was also delivered dirty and undetailed, and management has refused to take accountability. When I escalated to Honda Corporate (Case #15850808) and the BBB (Case #23892095), the dealership’s only “solutions” were to wash the car once or undo the sale entirely. Even Corporate agreed that “unwinding the sale” is not appropriate. This experience has been emotionally exhausting and completely unprofessional from start to finish. If you value honesty, empathy, and transparency, avoid this dealership and purchase your Honda elsewhere. More

It's always a pain to buy a car in a dealership but my experience in this one is not too bad. The car I bought is more than I can afford and of course, the other added fees make you feel worse. But despit experience in this one is not too bad. The car I bought is more than I can afford and of course, the other added fees make you feel worse. But despite all of that, I'm very happy with my CRV Hybrid Trailsport. Hopefully it will last as I expect from a Honda. And if it wasn't for the persistence of my salesman, Igor, i would not buy it. Igor was very knowledgeable and professional. All salesmen can be the same but Igor has a trait that make you feel like you made the right decision. His European accent adds a badass/classy experience to it too. I hope you get a good commission Igor. Honda Libertyville rocks! You owe me a few free carwash and because of you guys im going to be broke for the next few years! I love my car though! 👍🏻👍🏻 More
