My wife and I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Sonata Sport at the beginning of December 2021 from Imperial Ford in the “little town of Mendon”. Our salesman, Tom D’Andrea, was a true gentleman and treated us ver the beginning of December 2021 from Imperial Ford in the “little town of Mendon”. Our salesman, Tom D’Andrea, was a true gentleman and treated us very well throughout the process. I am not a fan of going out to buy a car, but this proved to be a very good experience. The price of the car was reasonable. The trade in value was spot on. We got a great interest rate on the loan. And the car itself was spotless. Last week I had a problem with the car. I tried loosening the lug nuts to take off the wheels and check the brakes. No such luck. They were on way too tight. So I called Imperial Ford and left a message for my salesman Tom. He called back about 5 minutes later. He sounded awful. He told me he was home with Covid, but recovering. Then he said “how can I help you.” I told him the problem and he told me to call the service department and they would take care of the problem quickly. After a short, but pleasant conversation and a get well quick message I called the service department and got the car taken care of the next day. Needless to say this effort and level of service was stunning. Definitely a 5 out of 5. We would not hesitate to purchase a car from Imperial Auto in the future and will recommend Imperial to others. Stop in and see Tom. I’m sure he’d be happy to assist you in purchasing a new or used vehicle. Rick W. More

Sometimes salespersons or customer service representatives, in any field, would like you to write a review about your experience with that company and other times you just feel compelled to do representatives, in any field, would like you to write a review about your experience with that company and other times you just feel compelled to do so even without being asked. This is certainly one of those times. Not quite sure where to even begin, but I'll just simply say my experience at Imperial Ford was nothing less than remarkable. My purchase started long before entering Imperial Ford after being in contact with Ford Sales Manager, Mr. Bob Champagne and my interest in ordering a new truck. Bob assisted me through several phone calls and emails, to order what is now my dream truck. And what a gorgeous truck it is. (Race Red F-250, XLT Premium Package with some awesome bells and whistles). Words cannot state the true professional, gentleman and outright sincere person Bob is. Bob is nothing less than a class act, period. Bob, being a Sales Manager, informed me he would place the final sale of the truck to one of his salesman, Mr. Tom D'Andrea. Phone calls with Tom advising me the truck had arrived and looking forward to meeting me, were met with a warm and welcoming greeting. When meeting and dealing with Tom, you never felt like you were putting him out or he wasn't there to help you. You felt important, as you should, when making a large purchase such as a vehicle. I think he was just as excited to show my wife and I the truck, as I was to see it. He was a very humble, sincere person and truly happy for you and you felt it. His professionalism as well, was at another level. In addition, I would like to mention two other people. Salesperson Miss Morgan Johnson and Business Manager Audie Jacques. Miss Johnson welcomed you with a bright smile outside the door of the dealership asking and if there was anything she could do for you. She was advised we were there for Tom and she opened the door for my wife and I and escorted us over the Tom's desk, even knowing she was not making a sale. She also assisted us with the FordPass at a later time when we picked up the truck. Again, we were not her client but happy to assist. Then there was Business Manager Audie Jacques. Although we were securing a loan from our bank, Audie took the time to see if there was anything he could do to get us an even better loan rate. He also spent a significant amount of time explaining extended warranties and other options for your vehicle, yet you never felt pressured into purchasing any of them. Another nice gentleman and professional who was just "real". In all, my wife and I had such a wonderful experience at Imperial Ford. I'm glad to have met Bob Champagne and Tom D'Andrea and truly feel they looked out for our best interest. My experience at Imperial Ford, was the best I have had at any dealership. I would not hesitate at all, to refer friends and family to reach out to any of the individuals I have mentioned or the Imperial Team in general. A huge Thank You to Bob and Tom for the gorgeous truck that I am now driving. More

I don’t think I have ever had to work harder to buy a used car in my life. And looking back on the entire situation, there were so many red flags that I pushed through just to get to the finish line that used car in my life. And looking back on the entire situation, there were so many red flags that I pushed through just to get to the finish line that I should have walked away when I had the chance. My sales rep Tom did a good job overall. He wasn’t pushy, was as honest as he could be and really played the “it’s not me, it’s the GM” card very well during negotiations. The problems began once I put a deposit down on the car and had to work with the GM. This dealership needs some serious work in customer experience and paperwork processing. At the time I put the deposit down, I was told that the dealership has the car title but the RMV was taking one week to process due to COVID. Of course, none of that was true. When checking the title on the RMV site, it said it was still with the previous auto loan company. I checked every day for a week - no progress. So I wasn’t surprised when the one week mark came and there was still no update on the car. Two weeks go by. Still nothing. Lots of “we’re working hard” and more blame on the RMV. Three weeks to by. Finally, I had enough. I called the RMV to check the progress. Turns out the title had not been processed at all and they didn’t even have it yet. The previous auto loan company still had the virtual title. I call the GM and he never calls me back. In order for me to get the car that I wanted, I realized I was going to have to do all the work. I had to call the previous auto loan company and talk to a representative. Found out that the title had been sent to the dealership THREE WEEKS AGO. I drove to the dealership, put my phone on speaker and connected the GM with the representative. Turns out they hadn’t spoken in three weeks! Once I called the GM out for not passing the title to the RMV fast enough, it miraculously ended up being ready to be sent to the RMV while I was still on the sales floor. So I again called the RMV on speaker and had the GM confirm everything over the phone so the RMV could mail the title to the dealership. That happened on a Thursday night and took about two hours of my time. I had the title and the car by Tuesday morning. I then proceeded to wait a week for the registration to be completed. When I came back a week later, they lied to me and said my insurance agent never sent anything over to them even though my agent CC’d me on the confirmation email from the dealership saying they received the necessary paper work. So I ended up waiting two more hours for them to complete the paper work. Oh, also there was a new chip the size of a quarter on the windshield when I first got there after not seeing the car for nearly a month. No mention of it from anyone even though the car had been “inspected as part of the certified pre-owned mandatory check list.” I have never had to advocate on my own behalf as much as I had to do for this car. That is not how the car buying experience should go. Then when I finally went to go pick up the car, the GM came over at the end of the financing to tell me that “while I appreciate the work you did to help with your purchase, we actually did it all and you just called on the right day when things were already moving forward.” Oh, and he made sure to ask for a review. Well, Imperial Ford, here’s the review you asked for. I am very disappointed in my car buying experience and will not be returning for any service or future purchases. So if you decide to venture to the Imperial Ford lots, just be prepared to work your tail off for the car that you want - because no one there will lift a finger for you. More
