So many things to say about my experience within the last three months with this dealership. I think at this time we're at a breaking point with the lack of communication and accountability from the dealersh three months with this dealership. I think at this time we're at a breaking point with the lack of communication and accountability from the dealership, my personal recommendation to anyone considering doing a transaction with Lexus of Sarasota would be to stay away and take the time to drive to another location. The initial transaction with the sales person (Tom McOmber) and the quality of the vehicle was for sure fabulous (Love our new RX), unfortunately this satisfaction didn't last long, and a great positive was overshadowed by the lack of accountability from the finance department to the service department (And let me just add the rudeness of the service department). The so called great experience to expect white glove service for the dealership has been nothing to say the least well below expectations and the call back from the finance person as poor, to a brink of negligence as representing an organization. I could go on in details about the issues, but overall as a basic review of this dealership and recommendation would be simply to say - Terrible and find another location. More

Today is May 31, 2024 We owned a 2007 Toyota Camry for 17 years and that car never and I mean NEVER, gave us trouble. So, now that we are in our mid-sixties, we thought we'd upgrade to a Lexus. That said, 17 years and that car never and I mean NEVER, gave us trouble. So, now that we are in our mid-sixties, we thought we'd upgrade to a Lexus. That said, we purchased a 2019 Lexus GS 350 in mid-April of 2024 from LEXUS of SARASOTA. We chose the LEXUS of SARASOTA dealership because we assumed they had a good reputation. I mean, it's LEXUS of SARASOTA and they are selling the LEXUS brand. It's right here in the in the name, right? And the LEXUS motto is "The Relentless Pursuit of Perfection." How could we go wrong? The zero pressure salesman was great and that strategy was just what we needed to be encouraged to buy the first time we visited their showroom. Even waiting for the finance guy, SCOTTY BEST, didn't take that long. Overall that part of new car ownership process wasn't bad at all. However, once you own one of their vehicles and need help, well, lets just say you get completely ignored. A week after the new-to-us car was home, we realized we missed an appointment to have the windows tinted - unfortunately, we mixed up the day/date with another - that's on us. What's not on us is the fact that SCOTTY BEST does not return calls. Why am I calling out SCOTTY BEST? Because he seems to be the only guy at LEXUS OF SARASOTA that can reschedule this appointment for us - or so we have been told by their service department. And, after a whirlwind of endless signing-your-life-away of God knows what "paperwork" (and SCOTTY BEST's hurried process of it all) I guess he's our go-to guy for this appointment. I'd know more if I got a call-back! Both my husband and I have called multiple times and I've emailed multiple times as well: All without success. I've even emailed asking to be contacted by the dealership's manager with zero results. One time, I was able to explain the issue to a receptionist and she was kind enough to offer to hand deliver a memo with our informaiont to SCOTTY BEST, hoping to ensure he received our message but alas, even that wasn't worth SCOTTY BEST's time. The last time I called, I was put through to a random person in the Finance Dept. and did receive a call back but was unavailable at that moment (figures!) so the call went to voicemail. Unfortunately, the caller left no message and hasn't tried again. Nice attempt by that random person though and much appreciated since at least he or she tried, even if only once. We clearly should have consulted online reviews prior to dealing with LEXUS of SARASOTA, who, in our experience, use smoke and mirrors to get the sale done and then treat their after-sales customers like a sleazy, corner lot dealership would. More

I declined any extra warranty's but there we're still added. I signed for 4.99 finance and paper reflected 6.99. Made a second trip back to the dealer and a gentleman by the name of Chuck corrected it. More
