Long story short, I'm glad I took his advice. Everyone I encountered at Valley made the process easy and free from a lot of unnecessary stress and pushy sales tactics. Scott Stevens was super helpful both in person and during several rounds of electronic communication about availability, features, and price. He is not just looking for a quick sale but is genuinely eager to help you find find a car that will meet your needs. He does a great job helping you understand and appreciate the distinctives of the vehicle you are considering and the Honda brand as a whole. Neither Scott nor his sales manager Jack Davis ever resorted to any of the pushy tactics you learn to watch for and guard against. They responded respectfully and promptly to my offer and we had a deal I was happy with after a brief, fact-based conversation about a fair price that could work for both of us. Finance manager Chris Barrera was great as well and didn't try to pressure me into additional products beyond what I was interested in. This was all a refreshing change from other experiences I've had when buying a vehicle. You need to do your homework and be prepared before you walk into a car dealership of any kind, but based on my experience and that of my coworker I would not hesitate to recommend Valley Honda and Scott Stevens to anyone in the market for a new Honda. More
