Hello! I am a Hutchinson Native but grew up my teen years in Lyons, KS. I graduated in 2005 and then went to HCC to get my Associates in Science. I have been with Conklin Automotive for 14 years and I also have been honored *Salesperson of year* for 5 years in a row. I have 2 children ages 12 and 8 and I am a #BoyMom. I also have 2 ( one chubby, one skinny) cats that are " My girls". I enjoy gardening, baking, thrifting and spending time with my friends and family. The best experience we have ever had buying a car! After contacting and visiting with Sara on the telephone about the honda we found on line we made a trip to Hutchinson to see it, took it for a test drive, contacting and visiting with Sara on the telephone about the honda we found on line we made a trip to Hutchinson to see it, took it for a test drive, and purchased it. Sara was very helpful, explaining all the new gadgets, setting up bluetooth, etc. Also was impressed with the sales manager, Barry, and the finance manager, Paul. They all made the experience delightful and was out of there and on our way home in less than two hours. Thanks again, Sara. We love the car! More

Sarah Klug is both a asset to her dealership and any customer that buys a car from her. She goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is treated with exceptional service. After my wife totalled her 2007 Chevy Tahoe in a auto accident we were in the market to replace it. I found a used Cadillac Escalade online that was for sale through Conklin Cars. I live up in Omaha, Ne. and explained to Sarah my situation. I told her if we could agree on a price I would probably have to rent a car in Omaha and drive it down to Hutchinson and drop it off. I would then sign the papers and drive the truck home. After looking at how far it was from Omaha to Hutchinson I became less interested in making this happen. It was going to be about a 10 hour round trip drive without the time I was going to spend at the dealership. Neither my wife or son wanted to drive that far and keep me company so I started to look for a truck closer to where i live. Sarah contacted me and said how about we meet in Kansas City, KS. It was about 3 hours south of Omaha. She said it was about a 3.5 hour drive from her dealership but would meet me there if it would help me out. I talked to my wife and son and asked if they wanted to ride down to KC and get the truck. My 9 year old son knew there was a indoor water park at the Great Wolf Lodge in KC and got really excited. I called Sarah back and told her KC would work and we agreed on the price of the truck. The next day we met Sarah down in Kansas City. We inspected the truck and took it for a quick test drive. Sarah had all the paperwork printed out and we had everything signed and out the door within 45 mins. The whole process was very painless. For Sarah to drive 7 hours round trip to deliver a car shows how committed she is to her customers. Even though we live out of state. We plan on giving Sarah a call for any cars we may need in the future. Sarah has left a lasting impression that we wont soon forget. Thanks to Sarah and Conklin Cars we had a great weekend in Kansas City and love the truck. More

I bought a used Chevrolet Colorado pickup from Sarah without looking at truck in person. I was 480 miles away. Truck is great! They delivered truck to me super fast! I purchased a vehicle from Conklin Cars on tuesday 3/13/12 - Sarah was my SALES REP and she made everything so easy, understandable, and stress free. As soon as we went into the finance office is when 3/13/12 - Sarah was my SALES REP and she made everything so easy, understandable, and stress free. As soon as we went into the finance office is when it went ALL WRONG! I'd asked several times during filling out all the paperwork to purchase the vehicle, if everything was okay with it, etc. The Finance Mgr told me over and over again that everything checked out perfect, there was nothing wrong, and it'd been run thru the shop and been cleaned. I was walked out to the new vehicle, right before leaving and leaving my old car which was going to be traded. I get two blocks away from Conklin Cars and have NO CONTROL over the wheel, the vehicle was shaking really bad and making a horrible noise. My fiance looked out the passenger side window, towards the back of the car where the noise was coming from and the rear wheel was COMING OFF THE CAR, LITERALLY!!!!!! I called Conklin to let them know what was going on and asked to be transfered to Sarah, they put me through to her voicemail, so I called her cell phone and she had her sales mgr, Kelly, call me (the one who walked me out to the vehicle and never said anything was wrong with the car.) When he gets to us to pick up the vehicle, he starts telling me about the front passenger wheel and how they had to order a part because the lug nut had been stripped and was no good, they knew this BEFORE I'd signed for the car and nobody ever told me. It took the back wheel falling off for them to tell me there was something wrong with another part of this car.. (The issue with the FRONT wheel wouldve been no big deal to me if they would've told me before I left the lot, instead they waited until I had something seriously go wrong, which now makes me not trust Conklin Cars AT ALL!!) They expected that I'd still want this vehicle, I loved the vehicle and was def. bummed that all of this was happening, but felt like I deserved for them to make things right with me, MORE than right. Kelly and the Service Mgr Jim Glover have the car in the shop on Wednesday when we went back to talk to them about everything. They were trying to explain what happened or, I should say, what didn't happen. They both start walking around the vehicle, telling us what all they fixed or what parts they've ordered to fix what was wrong with the vehicle, come to find out, there were a few things that needed fixed and I WAS NEVER TOLD ABOUT THIS BEFORE I TOOK THE CAR OFF THE LOT! Comes down to, Kelly offers me a 1 year, bumper to bumper warrenty on the vehicle and thought that'd make it right. I asked several times what else they were going to do to make us happy with the deal we were making with them and that was all they had to offer. DO NOT, go to Conklin Cars. The customer service is terrible, they dont care about their business, they swindle people. They wont be swindling me, or my family. I'm taking my business else where! More

I spent two months looking for a used car. I visited several dealerships and Conklin was the only one to get back to me about trying to match the kind of vehicle I was looking for. I turned down a numbe several dealerships and Conklin was the only one to get back to me about trying to match the kind of vehicle I was looking for. I turned down a number of cars, but Sarah Klug was unswayed. She was frankly more determined than I was to find a car; there were days I did not try out of discouragement. Barry was instrumental in the deal. I bought a 2005 Buick LeSabre, great condition, had all that I wanted (V6 engine important to me) and that worked generously and caringly with the price. On the day I had decided that Conklin was going to be my "carhunter," we closed the deal on the LeSabre. If the deal had failed, I was willing to wait for Conklin -- and only Conklin -- to put something else in front of me that matched my criteria. I was elated with the result. Sarah deserves much of the credit, and Barry, the manager kinda behind the scenes, went above and beyond in the ultimate cash transaction. More

It had been 15 years since I had been to Conklin cars in It had been 15 years since I had been to Conklin cars in Hutchinson looking for a car. Back then, when a prospective "sale" walked onto the lot, It had been 15 years since I had been to Conklin cars in Hutchinson looking for a car. Back then, when a prospective "sale" walked onto the lot, a swarm of commission based attention hungry sales reps raced to see who could extinguish their smoke the fastest and almost sprint to your location trying to 'wow' you with their lack of knowledge of the cars on their lot. That was then, and I'm happy to say, this is now! I decided to give Conklin's a try since it had been so long, and I must say, I'm very glad that I did. I was met by a very well mannered, articulately spoken "greeter" who introduced herself, shook my hand, asked what she could assist me with, and then proceeded to listen...yes, I said listen to what I was saying. She found out what my needs were, then made a phone call into the sales pool, and out came a sharply dressed young woman named Sarah Klug. Sarah introduced herself as she shook my hand, asked what she could help me find. I shared with her what I was looking for, in very specific terms, and much to my delight, I didn't loose her in the conversation. In fact, for the first time in a long time, I found myself dealing with a sales person who was very knowledgeable about her products. She suggested a couple of the used cars that were on the lot, but neither seemed to be "the one." And instead of trying to convince me that I was wrong and that either car would be the perfect car for me, she too listened, then politely shook my hand again and said she would check at the other Conklin locations for prospective cars for me and would call me if one was found. No pressure, no hype, no "today is the only day the prices are good" on the cars she showed me. Just a friendly smile and a "thank you for coming bye," and "I'll be in touch." Just a few short days later, we were in fact able to find "the one" and I drove my 2005 Buick Lesabre home today. And what a great deal I was given. I have to say, Sarah, and everyone I dealt with at the Hutchinson location made me feel comfortable. I could tell, they really did appreciate my business. I have already recommended Conklin Cars of Hutchinson to many of my friends in hopes that they too can experience car buying the way it should be, fun , exciting, and no pressure! Thank you Sarah!
