Once we walked in, everyone was friendly and noone made you feel pressured. Everything was clean, positive atmosphere, and the sales/showroom area felt inviting. Scott Gorgies was extremely polite, allowed us a 'healthy' test drive of the Ford Explorer without any questions or concerns. Every discussion on the Ford Explorer was pleasant and engaging. What I appreciated the most was the effort Scott made to listen to me as we discussed the vehicle. The experience in buying the vehicle was the best I've / we ever had at a dealership. Once the purchase decision was made and we were discussing matters with Ryan, it was genuinely smooth. Ryan never made us feel like we were a strain on his time. I was caught 'off guard' on the extended warranty pricing in the final details. That information was not provided until that moment, but at the same time I also forgot to inquire about it when I first looked into the vehicle. I just don't like surprises, but it was a small slip on both sides that was not deliberate in any manner. In the end it wasn't a deal breaker. I do wish that the consideration of a price adjustment on the vehicle would have been made as it will need new tires in 6-12 months. I already had my mechanic assess that item along with a concern the front struts might be done. I say this as we all know the used car market prices are pretty high, regardless, of 'competitive pricing' comments which were provided to me. Honestly, an 8 year old car costing ~ 50% of its new sticker price seems high. I understand mileage was low, but I just feel asking or holding firm on 'A+' pricing, while it was a 'B+' or 'A-' condition doesn't feel like a customer first circumstance in this situation. Overall, I give Scott and Ryan a 10/10 with our interaction and experience. The overall buying experience due to what I mentioned above is a 8.5 or 9 out of 10. Again, in the end not a deal breaker but disappointed me a small bit. I don't believe that is on Scott, I believe that was decision made from above Scott's position. More

I was in the hunt for a particular used car that is pretty famous and hard to get in America. I found it listed online, only about 5 or 6 in the color and year I wanted. I called multiple dealers to se pretty famous and hard to get in America. I found it listed online, only about 5 or 6 in the color and year I wanted. I called multiple dealers to see if any of their online listings were still around and thankfully spoke with Brian Lagodna about the relatively low-mileage model of the car they had in stock. I agreed I was interested, and I was able to get second on the list (as a buyer was thinking about getting it), but when the buyer decided not to get it, I got a call from Brian that same day and was able to become the buyer! I went down a few days later that week and had a quick meeting with Brian to get the car. He let us go for a quick test drive, let me work on getting my insurance to include it, and was even so nice that he filled the car with the 93 octane gas and had a local paint store person make some of the rare paint needed to help if I ever have gravel/rocks or anything make a mark. Ryan O'Neill was very helpful and nice to talk to (funny guy!) about the financial side of the purchase. He had emailed me the document showing the cost and breakdown the day before, so we were all set and ready to go quickly. He happens to be a great musician/singer as well (and to be clear, he didn't start the convo, I was just asking him stuff and found out about it all based on my own curiosity!) He let me look up his YouTube and showed me just how good he is - and Brian commented that he was as well, including noting that his songs sometimes come on the radio in town. Long story short, if you see that he has a performance with either of his bands, I encourage you to go, and I may get the chance to drive over to one of the places he performs this year - he was that good! Glad to have ended up as the deal did. If I were in the hunt for a vehicle again and had to look a bit of distance, I would be glad and happy if it ended up in the hands of Brian and Ryan at Suburban Ford of Troy. Nice guys, a solid deal, and I'm excited about the vehicle I bought. Good luck if you're on the hunt for a used or new car! More
