I understand how it works but when you work with Cargurus and their offer or rate for my car (that is paid off) is a certain dollar amount. DON'T come out with an insulting offer. Had been to 4 dealerships and none of them would budge on the price. With what I had looked up, they were priced too high. When I went to Lake Ford they had an Outback that was priced $500 lower for the same the price. With what I had looked up, they were priced too high. Was still out of my budget so they asked what it would take, I gave them an offer, and they accepted it. They even took in my 2008 KIA in trade!
