The service was fine, but someone drug their feet across the rubber, paint and protective plate getting in and out of my driver's side door. Luckily it wiped off fairly well. The scheduling with the Smithville facility and the oil change went well. We also appreciated the pickup and delivery service. On the down side we were called by multiple people to confirm the appointment change went well. We also appreciated the pickup and delivery service. On the down side we were called by multiple people to confirm the appointment. One woman had the correct date, but wrong time. We do not welcome multiple appointment reminder calls from multiple people. WE ARE BUSY! We were also given multiple requests to sell our vehicle to the dealership. Again, WE ARE BUSY and that wasted our time, too. We will let you know when we want to sell or trade. All in all, we have to evaluate using this dealership again. More

I made a service appt for a drop off at 7am to get an alignment done. When I made the appointment I told the service writer that my vehicle had just had a lift put on, and that it had 1 inch wheel spacer alignment done. When I made the appointment I told the service writer that my vehicle had just had a lift put on, and that it had 1 inch wheel spacers. The tech called to confirm details and assured me there wouldn't be any issues. At 1 pm I called to check on the status. My call was disconnected 3 times, but the advisor finally called me back to let me know that they hadn't started on vehicle and they would bring it in later in the afternoon. Okay. So around 3:30, the advisor called me back and essentially said they couldn't work on the vehicle, that it required special shimming parts to complete the alignment and that it was way out, and what had happened to it to cause this. I reminded him of the lift. He wasn't able to explain what exactly needed shimmed. He asked who did the lift, what brand it was, and suggested that it was shoddy work because the bolts were aftermarket. The lift kit and the hardware all came from FORD. I literally purchased it from Ford's Bronco Nation website. This is the 3rd lift kit I have done and it's standard procedure to get an alignment after because you have to disconnect the suspension components. The guy got REALLY short with me, and said they couldn't finish the vehicle today, they would have to order more parts and it would have to sit over the weekend. He couldn't say how much the parts were, he hadn't even started to look them up. I said I wasn't prepared to be without the vehicle all weekend and that if they'd pulled the vehicle in earlier (remember my appointment was for 7 am) we would have known sooner, rather than waiting till 2 hours before they close. I said I didn't understand why he was getting so upset at me, and then he told me I could come get the car and hung up on me. For what it's worth, I made an appointment at Big O the next morning and they had it done in less than 90 minutes. No parts needed and the vehicle is perfect. The service advisor at Smithville Ford was rude and insecure about not knowing what he was talking about, and got defensive about it. More
