Took my car in when the engine blew up. Covered under warranty-Great. 3 months later..engine replaced-Great Go to pick it up, check engine light is on. Ok…probably something minor wr Covered under warranty-Great. 3 months later..engine replaced-Great Go to pick it up, check engine light is on. Ok…probably something minor wrong.. Nope. Computer also bad, needs a new one. 5 months later..Computer fixed, everything done supposedly. I am safe to drive it to Illinois they said after getting brake work done that I paid 450 for. I make it 5 hours into the trip to Lake City, FL., white smoke starts billowing out everywhere and I’m forced to pull over and get a tow truck to tow it to the nearest Kia dealer. The service manager tells me that Kia of Bradenton did not correctly install the wastegate(this was also a problem kia of bradenton specifically said they replaced and fixed) as well as not hooking up the transmission fluid hose correctly, hence all of the smoke. I was on limited time as it is and I was pretty much forced into BUYING ANOTHER CAR at Lake city kia so I could continue home due to it being a Saturday and everywhere else being closed until Monday and no airport in town. NEEDLESS TO SAY I STILL HAVE TO GO BACK TO LAKE CITY TO PICK IT UP WHEN ITS DONE BEING FIXED..AGAIN. For the hassle you all have given me over this car you should be fronting a tow transport and delivering it to me. I am beyond angry and frustrated with your service department technicians. Don’t worry. It’s not at your dealership so it’s not like it’s your problem anymore. “GREAT” service. More
