It began with the sales manager, Stephen, making a deal with me over the phone on a used BMW X7. We agreed on price and a new set of tires, and the next day the sales guy called me to say he couldn't do t with me over the phone on a used BMW X7. We agreed on price and a new set of tires, and the next day the sales guy called me to say he couldn't do the deal. So, they offered to take another $500 off and "let" me get the tires I want for the car. I declined and they again said they cannot do the deal as agreed. So, after evaluating my options I requested actual readings of the tread depth on the existing tires with 24,000 miles on them. They came back with reasonable depth that should have lasted me the summer at least. Knowing i was going to have to replace the tires anyway, I begrudgingly agreed to the new deal. Booked a ticket and flew down from NH to VA to find a car with BALD rear tires. Like practically racing slicks. I threw a fit, but also knew I was a bit captive. Enter Rush, the GM. Pretended to be a nice guy but was not going to do a thing to make the problem right. Then offered to take a look at his financials and "if he can do anything" he will get back in touch with me. NEVER HEARD A WORD AGAIN FROM HIM. The car itself checks out and is in great shape (per my local BMW dealer). However, 2x Bait and Switch from one dealership is three strikes for me. I'll never go back to Ted Britt Chevrolet. More
