I’ve been a customer of Delray Toyota since 2008 when I bought my RAV4 there. I’ve had it serviced there through the years and today, with my C-HR that I bought there, Gabby in service is one of the BEST! bought my RAV4 there. I’ve had it serviced there through the years and today, with my C-HR that I bought there, Gabby in service is one of the BEST! However, dealing with the parts department recently, I left angry and disappointed. The man who was answering the phone in parts, who is definitely in need of more training on using the phone, told me he had the wipers that I needed for my C-HR. When I went to the dealership to get them, he told me he didn’t have the passenger side one and he would special order it and it would be in the next day. I paid for all 3 and he told me he would call when they came in. He didn't call me and when I called a few days later to see if it came in, he kept putting my call on hold and never came back to talk. After 7 attempts to talk to him, he said the blade was in. When I went to Delray Toyota with my 2 wipers, I find out they were the wrong ones that the parts department guy, Roosevelt, told me that they were for my car. After telling the Service Department Manager, Chacho, about the ordeal with my wipers, not being called to let me know they were in, being sold the wrong ones and the awful phone protocol of being put on hold right away 7 times, Chacho was nasty, curt and unapologetic about the total experience with his department. I would suggest that Roosevelt be retrained in phone etiquette, as well as being more knowledgeable and careful in selling parts to customers. As for the Parts Department Manager, who told me he has been there about a 1 1/2 years, he needs to be retrained in Customer Satisfaction and not have a nasty attitude when he is told that his department falls short of what I’ve know Delray Toyota to be in all the years I’ve been going there for Sales and service of my Toyotas.
