I am here for you. I have been with General Motors since 1996. I drive from Port Jefferson to work at Arnold Chevrolet Buick in West Babylon so I can work at an honest dealership. I pass a lot of GM stores on my way in to Arnold every day and could work at any one of them; I am very grateful to work at a store that requires honesty. It was great experience UNTIL I brought my Tahoe in toward the end of its warrantee, still in warrantee though. I advised the service staff the transmission was slipping. After checking it out they t toward the end of its warrantee, still in warrantee though. I advised the service staff the transmission was slipping. After checking it out they told me they took it for a ride, and they couldn't recreate the problem. They then looked at my transmission and told me it was fine. Now, we are out of warrantee and the slipping transmission I companied about never went away and is now a major problem. I called to discuss when them and they told me I REFUSED SERVICE. Which admits they knew it was a problem... Now tell me, do you think I would have refused service??? NOOOOOOO.!!! Nobody in this country would refuse service to a slipping transmission under warrantee! They lied to my face and had the nerve to tell me I refused service!! I am appalled. They probably thought it's not bad yet, lets tell her its fine and it will crash out of warrantee. I will never buy from Arnold Chevrolet ever again and have been warning everybody I know never to buy Cars from them. 1 star is a star too many. This was completely unacceptable! PS....Oh and they gave me GM's # to speak with and they have been jerking us around. I will try another manufacturer make going forward as GM lost their -"Built Strong" mojo!! More
