I honestly don’t know where to begin I purchased my car from a Lithia owned store, and since my car has the lithia platnium coverage I can only fix it at a lithia owned store. My tow truck got to the deale from a Lithia owned store, and since my car has the lithia platnium coverage I can only fix it at a lithia owned store. My tow truck got to the dealership supposedly I didn’t have an appt so the service manager denied the car and we proved we have an appt then all of a sudden they take in smart cars and the service manager tells me to go f my self to another dealership in Manhattan when it can’t get fixed unless it’s a lithia owned store I have called corporate many times tried to reach the general manager many times honestly worst customer service ever. The service manager was a complete a hole to the tow truck driver to me worst experience ever I have never been treated like this in my life and honestly now I know why people hate dealing with dealerships they are a bunch of heartless people. Like I am just trying to get my fathers car fixed nothing more nothing less. He needs to get around to work it’s not like I am asking for so much I have paid for the full warranty for a reason. Purchased a 2021 Sprinter 2500 and the factory has sent out 3 recalls on this vehicle. All related to software upgrade. Since this vehicle was purchased as a work van, I politely asked Mercedes-Benz of Par out 3 recalls on this vehicle. All related to software upgrade. Since this vehicle was purchased as a work van, I politely asked Mercedes-Benz of Paramus service department for a loaner vehicle of any kind so that I can get to work while the recall issue is being resolved. The service department said they will call me back. After 3 weeks of not hearing from anyone I decided to call them and had to reiterate the whole process again. After a long hold, the service manager came on the phone said that they will not provide a loaner because it is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. I asked why and they said they just don't. Without further explanation from them, I was reluctant to have the van fixed. I'm currently driving a van with faulty software issues that is of no cause by me. I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE FROM MERCEDES-BENZ OF PARAMUS. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMER. VERY MEAN AND DISHONEST. ALL IN FOR THE MONEY AND NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Worse customer service for service department. I have tried this dealership twice but was disappointed both times. Today, I called to make appointment for 40,000 mile service and was told “it’s $7 I have tried this dealership twice but was disappointed both times. Today, I called to make appointment for 40,000 mile service and was told “it’s $799 service”, I was like ok that’s fine, please give me date and time! Then she told me that I also have one software recall and they need to work on car for full day or maybe two! I was told that because I did not but my car from them that’s why I won’t qualify for loaner car! First of all, I went to same dealership 4-5 times to buy a car (because it’s 2 mins from my home) but they never have same car in stock what I was looking for. I bought my car from Boston which was pain for me but they have same car what I was looking for. Also, I was told 100 times “it’s a Mercedes family and does not matter where you but the car you will always be a family member” which is obviously a xxxxxxxx! To make it even worse I called another dealership at Nanuet and they were super nice and told me that service and software recall can be done in 2 -3 hours. The customer service person was so nice. So my question is if same work can be done at one dealership in 2-3 hours, why Paramus Mercedes needs 2 days! I called Paramus service department back and spoke with Rebeca and wanted to talk to a manager and was told “they are busy and someone will call me back” I never received a call back. So Good Bye Mercedes of Paramus. I will never step in there again ! More
