I would highly recommend steering clear of Gary Yeoman’s Ford Palm Bay. They lied to my face just to make a deal, my experience with the finance manager was terrible, and they tried to steal $1000 from me. Ford Palm Bay. They lied to my face just to make a deal, my experience with the finance manager was terrible, and they tried to steal $1000 from me. I went into the dealership in the middle of October last year to look at a used truck they had for sale. After I looked it over, I noticed there were some scratches in the front bumper that were down to the bare metal and were rusting and a broken door lock knob, two very simple things to fix. I told the salesman that I was concerned about these and he told me that he would have the body shop take care of the rust on the front bumper and he would put a new door lock knob on for me while we were doing the paperwork. After everything was said and done, he gave me the keys and we went outside and neither item was fixed as we previously agreed upon. He said they would mail me a bottle of touch up paint (which is not what we agreed to) and a door lock knob because they did not have any in stock and I should expect it the next week. He shook my hand and said “Remember, here at Gary Yeoman’s Ford Palm Bay, we’re here for you after the deal too.” After waiting two weeks I made contact with my salesman Luis, he gave me some excuses and said he would take care of it for me. A few weeks went by and I received nothing. I tried to contact him again multiple times with no response. I called the sales manager Ricky voicing my complaint, he also said he would take care of it for me. Weeks went by and I still received nothing. I called him again, stated that I still have yet to receive anything in the mail, once again, he gave some excuses and stated he would take care of it. Here we are almost 3 months later and I still haven’t received anything. The finance manager Mark was the worst example of customer service I can imagine. Before I came in to look at the truck, I got preapproved for a loan through two of the banks I use. My salesman Luis said that whatever rate I got through my banks, the dealership’s bank would be able to match. When the finance manager Mark drafted up the paperwork and they couldn’t match the interest rate that my bank offered me, I told him I would prefer to use my bank. This made him upset, he said I was making more work for him just to save a few pennies per month. Then he asked about my down payment. I brought $8500 in cash and you would’ve thought I brought a bomb into his office. He threw his arms in the air went on a tirade about how cash is covered in germs and he can’t believe how people still bring cash in for a down payment during a pandemic (meanwhile he wasn’t wearing a mask and didn’t seem to be taking any other precautions concerning Covid). He reluctantly counted the money, and he only counted a total of $7500. I told him there’s no way that is right. He said he would get someone else to count it with him. I asked him if they had an automatic bill counting machine, he said they do not (which I find highly unlikely). He brought in a gentleman from the next office over, re-counted it in front of him and once again only counted $7500. I took it myself, counted it, it came up with $8500. Then I put it in stacks of $1000 on the table to prove to them that there was $8500 there. He proceeded to tell me that he thinks his blood sugar is low and that is why he miscounted it. I’m not sure why the other gentleman missed the $1000 as well, he just brushed it off and did not offer an excuse. I have waited almost 3 months to post this because after many attempts to contact them, I was hoping they would make the situation right. People can have bad days, mistakes can happen, and medical issues may cause errors, but my overall experience at Gary Yeoman’s Ford Palm Bay and they’re complete lack of rectifying these false promises made to me will definitely make myself, my family, my friends and anyone I can tell avoid using Gary Yeoman’s Palm Bay Ford for the foreseeable future.
