BAIT AND SWITCH. Showed up at dealership on 1/5/26 to buy car for my daughter. I offered to buy the car in cash for the FULL ADVERTISED price. Manager Schuyler Miller Showed up at dealership on 1/5/26 to buy car for my daughter. I offered to buy the car in cash for the FULL ADVERTISED price. Manager Schuyler Miller asked that I additionally buy a $4900 dealer certification to increase the warranty and finance the car because they get money back from the lenders for selling financing. I told him I did not want the warranty and did not need to finance. He very clearly stated that I can refuse to take out a loan or buy the additional dealer warranty, but then they will not sell me the car and will wait for someone who will pay more. Prior to going to the dealership, I spoke to Carmen Hererra and specifically asked if the advertised price was the out the door price and was told only "Taxes Tags and Title" were added and there were no additional add ons. I went to see an advertised used Nissan (certified) that I was ready to purchase that night. The advertised price was 20k. An email indicated taxes and licensing fees were excluded (nothing else) But in the test drive I was told $800 would be added for "documentation", (okay. fine) But then another $2,000 for (I don't remember what) and here's the kicker--the CERTIFICATION COST WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE--ANOTHER $4,000! In my 15 minute "negotiation" with "the manager" the drive-away price was never quoted though I asked for it I was told I could not put more than $10k in cash if I wanted "the price". I kept being given the monthly payment without an interest rate or the car's real final price. (REALLY?) I had spent an hour getting to this dealership. I don't recommend it. I'm a woman and went alone. I don't want to believe in 2023 that made a difference in how dumb they thought I would be or that I wouldn't want the answers I received over the phone to hold, or that I wouldn't want to know the real price, but it was a very distasteful experience. Afterward I realized that the front line salesman was uncomfortable during the test drive when I repeated to him what I was told on the phone and what my expectations were. It was a total and utter waste of time. More

In September I leased my second Sentra there and Rick was an amazing salesman to work with. He is so patience and very respected person knowing what vehicle and deal I wanted.
