Dear Mr. Catena, Mr. Liguori, and Mr. Castello, I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment with the way I was treated by Ray Catena Mercedes Catena, Mr. Liguori, and Mr. Castello, I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment with the way I was treated by Ray Catena Mercedes Benz of Union regarding the conclusion of my lease on a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC300W4. As a long time customer, I expected a level of professionalism, customer service, and fair treatment befitting of the Mercedes-Benz brand. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness, discrimination as a woman, unfair policies, and what I can only describe as a complete disregard for customer loyalty. I leased my vehicle under a 48 month term lease with a 10,000 mile annual allowance. Despite being well under the mileage limit- only 21,000 (and it had 8,000 miles prior) with 5 months remaining- and the vehicle being in pristine condition, I was denied any accommodation to end my lease early without financial penalty. Rather than working with me to find a reasonable solution, I was charged for the remaining months in full and forced to pay an additional month simply because I chose not purchase or lease another vehicle. This is an appalling and unjustified policy that penalizes customers for making decisions in their best financial interest. Beyond the financial aspect, the level of customer service I received was dismissive and condescending, particularly as a female customer. I left this experience not only frustrated by the dealership’s rigid and exploitative policies, but also deeply disappointed by the way I was treated throughout the process. Neither manager had the decency to come over and speak to me. The lack of respect, unwillingness to engage in a reasonable conversation, and complete absence of any customer appreciation are unacceptable and a stain on the reputation of a brand that prides itself on luxury and service excellence. I am bringing this to your attention because I believe that no customer- especially one that has spent $28,000 on a vehicle- should be treated in this manner. If this is how Ray Catena Mercedes-Benz chooses to do business, I will be sure to take my future purchases and recommendations elsewhere. Additionally, I feel compelled to share my experience with others so they can make informed decisions about where they choose to do business. I expect a formal response to this matter and an explanation for why I was treated this way. I hope that Mercedes-Benz values its customers more than what I have experienced at Ray Catena in Union, New Jersey. More

They are really selling cars, but they are the worse on the service center. It takes 1 month for you to schedule a service and hours to replace a tire. Go to other Mercedes dealers because I always have is the service center. It takes 1 month for you to schedule a service and hours to replace a tire. This is a late review, but Richard worked diligently and got me a great deal for the vehicle of my choice. He was super attentive and very kind. He also got me an awesome finance package with an interest got me a great deal for the vehicle of my choice. He was super attentive and very kind. Sneaky and Rude Asistant Service Manager Jamie Rogers I always have my car service with Daniel Ventura who is a very nice guy and treated me nicely. But, when I want for my appointment today, Daniel was not there, I spoke to Sandro Rosario. He did not do what I scheduled and asked for, he tricked me with something else without explain to me clearly. I complained to the assistant service manager Jamie Rogers, Jamie was trying to covering up for Sandro Rosario and twice thing around to charge me over $50 more unexpected. Jamie is not only sneaky, also very rude. More

I also must mention Joe Natale who has graciously helped me in the past but was not available when I arrived and Rich Kazdan stepped in and did just a wonderful job (totally 1st class) and James Castello and Dan Liguori, both, who more than ably assisted. KUDOS All: including the receptionist and the ladies answering the phones. Again, another totally satisfying experience at Ray Catena, Union, LLC. More

Purchased a car today and had a wonderful experience I purchased and picked up a Mercedes GL 550 vehicle today. The overall experience was fantastic. This is my fourth purchase with the sales person Rich Kazdan and as always he delivered an excellent experience. Christopher Bradfield the Product Cincierge was an absolute professional. His knowledge of the vehicle technology and amenities was fantastic. Chris' personal disposition was so professional caring concerned and patient. Overall Christopher and Rich represented Ray Catena in a very excellent manner and I will continue to do business with this dealer not just because I love the product but because the excellent service and attention to the customer is so satisfying and a real differentiator.
