Service took way too long. I arrived at 8:05 and did not leave until 11:30. Additionally, I purchased a tire pressure kit from the parts department and later discovered that it was broken. My August 8- 4 Sept Jim Ellis Volvo experience I have My August 8- 4 Sept Jim Ellis Volvo experience I have no choice given the condition of the vehicle and my experience but to schedule a return of My August 8- 4 Sept Jim Ellis Volvo experience I have no choice given the condition of the vehicle and my experience but to schedule a return of the vehicle and ask for a refund of my expenditures. I did not arrive at this decision easily. I traveled to Georgia ( leaving North Carolina at 0245) on a one way ticket, took a Taxi to the dealership all during COVID; furthermore I frequently communicated my travel plans and my expectations for the condition of the vehicle and my arrival time in writing prior to my arrival. The entire process at Jim Ellis took over 4 hours as the vehicle was not prepped to my expectations or I believe Certified Volvo requirements. To put it mildly this has been a huge inconvenience for my family as well; our intent was to use this vehicle along with our Van to transport our daughters back to school. Additionally, I communicated how important this purchase was to me as this was my first car purchase in 10 years.I had researched numerous vehicles and settled on a Volvo. On August 12th on highway 521 the car stopped working and would not start this was at approximately 4:40 pm. I was forced to push the car with assistance from a police officer off of the highway The temperature outside was 98 degrees and intermittent rain showers. I called Volvo Cars Mall of Ga and spoke with a service technician who attempted to troubleshoot the problem to no avail. I called Volvo On Call and explained that the vehicle would not start. They took my information and said they would send a tow truck . When the tow truck did not arrive after 1 hour I made numerous calls to the Volvo On call system. The tow truck arrived after dark at approximately 8:40 pm. Approximately 4 hours after my initial call. The On Call supervisor arranged for an Uber to take me home. The vehicle was transported to a local Volvo dealership where the problem was diagnosed as a faulty fuel gauge a software updated was also performed. 24 August I received a refund to my credit card downpayment, I received the remainder of my refund via check on 28August. This may have been a 1 off event with regard to my car buying experience at this dealership however it was my very real experience. More

Great service!! Once again I was made to feel welcome from the moment I walked into the dealership. They acknowledged my string of bad luck with flat tires and helped me find a cost effective solution for balance and alignment and new tire options. My salesman, David Windholz, even came over to check on me and ask about my family. Great team at Volvo Cars Mall of Georgia and I always feel they are genuine and truthful with me. More

Bas experience This is my first non complimentary service for volvo as 40k scheduled maintenance. When I drop off my car, the service manager told me the answer I as This is my first non complimentary service for volvo as 40k scheduled maintenance. When I drop off my car, the service manager told me the answer I asked for the 10 service discount on the dealer website, that he already included another this count so that you could not over-rapping the discount as 499 plus tax. However I do not understand the cost which was shawn on their brochure as 499. After I am ready to pick my car up, I asked about the discount to another service manager, Richard. He told me that 10% discount is better than another option but he demanded me show the actual coupon in hand. I showed him their website related discount. At last they applied the discount as 10%off to 499 which means there is no discount on original invoice. I am very disappointed this way to deal with the royal customer since I bought xc90 2016 as new and first volvo owner. I hope this is just bad Happening not usual bias to volvo. More
