Unhappy 2019 Trax buyer

I purchased a 2019 Trax that has malfunctioned twice. Of course Philips Chevrolet’s Service department is saying the diagnustics testing is not showing any signs of a problem. I had terrifying episodes twice and I had to throw the car out of drive to get it yo stop. The car is ready for pick up and I am supposed to just drive it until it happens again. Does someone have to die or get seriously hurt before someone will take ownership that there is a problem. Instead I am stuck with a car that I’m scared to drive. The salesperson (Mr William Powell) started ignoring me. I’m stuck.

GM Roadside towed her Chevy Trax into the dealer. We ran a complete diagnostic and everything came up as passing with no diagnostic trouble codes. We then test drove the vehicle with a service tech and salesman and were never able to duplicate the concern. We then kept her Chevy Trax over night to retest all concerns. Everything was working as intended so no repairs were made. Customer was still unsatisfied, but did not want us to do anything further. She has now stated that her old car did the same exact thing, but it was a Hyundai.

I just wanted to state that I'm not satisfied. I am scared to death to drive this car. I did not have the same problem with my 2016 Hyundai Tucson. My Tucson had a faulty computer system along with the faulty dual clutch transmission. I was also told that there wasn't anything wrong with this car. The dealership could not get any diagnostic reports stating that there was something wrong with it. However, it was later recalled despite this fact. I stated that I was dealt with in the same manner and that I went through the same song and dance that I went through then. So no, I do not trust in the diagnostic testing. No I do not trust in the Bluelink (Hyundai) or OnStar (Chevy) that will generate reports that there's nothing wrong when I know for a fact there is something wrong. Again, I am having someone to tell me that I must have imagined what I experienced. I imagined that as I got off the expressway with my Tucson and the vehicle would not move forward or backward. I went to the dealer and was told - there's nothing wrong. Our diagnostic testing shows nothing - we could not get the car to replicate the problem. Chevy told me the same thing. This car (Trax) would not stop. I had grinding, smoke and lots of noise but I only imagined that this happened. I will say that the brakes are working better since they towed it, but I still experience the soft and mushy brakes. Again, I'm terrified but I'm stuck. I do believe that it is going to happen again but I'm hoping that it won't.
He also states that I did not want them (Chevy ) to do anything further. Well, if there is nothing wrong, what can you do. Again, I never once told them that my Hyundai had faulty brakes, because the brakes worked just fine.

Well I’m back - to report another incident with the braking system with this 2019 Trax. I was without my car for a while during the Thanksgiving Holiday and now I’m going to be without it again. I had another incident on Monday the 17th. They will not have an opening to look at it until the 27th. So much for buying a new car. I’m so glad that I got what I signed on the bottom line for - a Safe, Reliable mode of transportation. I’m discouraged, dissatisfied, terrified, disillusioned, hurt and my heart is in my stomach while life goes on for the people who sold me this car. They get to carry on in their normal capacity while my life is turned upside down. I am treated like a delusional idiot because they can’t find anything wrong with this car. I hate feeling this way because I’m crying over a car when there are homeless people who haven’t had a meal.

Quick diagnosis, quick repair
When I had an issue with my car, I called them up, they scheduled me to bring my car in the next morning, they diagnosed the problem and got the part
When I had an issue with my car, I called them up, they scheduled me to bring my car in the next morning, they diagnosed the problem and got the part ordered same day, part came in the next day, and they had my car fixed within the following day. Dealing with Ryan was great. He let me know what was going on at every step. They got me set up with a loaner vehicle that fit my needs, and they were able to work around my schedule so I didn't have to miss any work. Everyone was pleasant to talk with. I would definitely send others there to have their car worked on.
