Too bad ZERO stars is not an option: I rarely write reviews, but what happened to my family after purchasing a vehicle from Jacob’s Mitsubishi deserves to be publicly known so others can avoid the same reviews, but what happened to my family after purchasing a vehicle from Jacob’s Mitsubishi deserves to be publicly known so others can avoid the same experience. My wife purchased a 2020 Cadillac Escalade from Jacob’s Mitsubishi in Wesley Chapel, FL. The vehicle was advertised as having passed the dealership’s so-called “rigorous 150-point inspection.” The online listing and verbal assurances gave us confidence that this vehicle was safe and road-ready. Unfortunately, the reality was the complete opposite. Within 2 hours of purchase, while driving home to Gulf Breeze, Florida, my wife experienced a low tire pressure in Gainesville. A certified technician at Tires Plus inspected the vehicle and discovered a bent inner wheel lip on one of the rims—damage that made it impossible for the tire to hold air. The technician further explained that this was old damage, not something that happened recently, and that any attempt to repair it would be unsafe. To make matters worse, the dealership had installed non-OEM tire sizes that didn’t match the manufacturer’s specifications and were incompatible with the factory spare tire. Tires Plus confirmed that attempting to drive with the mismatched spare could have damaged the vehicle’s drivetrain. My wife was forced to stay in a hotel for two nights, waiting on Jacob’s Mitsubishi to “fix” the issue after they accepted responsibility. The dealership promised to replace all 4 wheels and tires with the wheels and tires off another 2024 Cadillac Escalade on their lot, so that 1. The tires were OEM specific and 2. The tires would match the spare. Instead, they took the unsafe tires off our purchased Escalade and put them on the wheels of the 2024 Escalade. This was the classic “bait and switch.” I reached out to General Manager Ray Sousa with detailed documentation, and receipts totaling $1,234.59. This was the cost of the hotel stay and tire replacement. Despite Jacob’s Mitsubishi’s own website clearly stating: “Personal response within 24 hours. Direct action on service concerns. Follow-up to ensure satisfaction.” …I received no response whatsoever. No acknowledgment, no call, no follow-up, nothing. This complete lack of professionalism and accountability is inexcusable, especially from a business that promotes “direct action” and “customer satisfaction” as core values. In my opinion, Jacob’s Mitsubishi either failed to properly inspect this vehicle or chose to sell it knowing it was unsafe. Selling a vehicle represented as fully inspected when it has structural wheel damage and mismatched tires is not only misleading, IT’S DANGEROUS. To this day, the dealership has made no effort to resolve the issue or reimburse the documented expenses. What could have been a simple, good-faith resolution instead turned into a frustrating and costly ordeal that reflects a serious lack of integrity and customer care. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Jacob’s Mitsubishi, I strongly urge you to proceed with extreme caution. Get an independent inspection before signing anything, and don’t rely on their advertised “inspection process” or “24-hour personal response” promises. Based on my experience, those claims appear to be little more than marketing slogans. We expected honesty, professionalism, and follow-through from a dealership that claims to stand behind its customers. What we got instead was silence, inconvenience, and unnecessary expense. Bottom line: Jacob’s Mitsubishi sold my wife an unsafe vehicle, ignored our attempts to resolve it, and failed to live up to their own published commitments. Buyers deserve better. More

Very Disappointed – Not What I Expected I purchased a 2012 JEEP Wrangler from this dealership on June 20, 2025, and it has been nothing but problems since the very first day. The check engine light came 2012 JEEP Wrangler from this dealership on June 20, 2025, and it has been nothing but problems since the very first day. The check engine light came on right after leaving the dealership, along with the tire pressure sensor warning. I immediately contacted the salesman, Dan, and was told the vehicle was sold "as is," so there was nothing they would do. In the past 30 days, I've spent over $4,500 on repairs and the car has been in the shop three times! Here’s a list of the issues I’ve had to fix: 7/3/25 – Ignition coil, intake gasket, and spark plugs replaced due to vehicle stalling. 7/18/25 – Headlights weren’t working and needed to be replaced. 7/21/25 – Radiator blew, causing overheating and required a tow to the shop. 7/29/25 - Car wouldn't start, had to tow to dealer. New TIPM box required I’m extremely disappointed in the dealership for not performing proper inspections before selling the car for $18,000. They should have caught these issues ahead of time. I expected much better quality and service, especially for such a significant purchase. I would not recommend buying from here based on my experience. More
