I initially chose Hawk Mazda because they offered me the best out-the-door quote among all the dealerships I contacted. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive part of my experience ended—and the real problems began. When I went in to finalize the purchase, I noticed something didn’t add up with the financing. The monthly payment they quoted didn’t make sense based on the numbers we had agreed on. Upon closer inspection, it became clear they were trying to add approximately $2,600 more to the loan. When I raised my concerns, I was brushed off with an explanation about a "45-day payment proration," which I knew was incorrect. Instead of listening or double-checking, I overheard the finance manager tell the salesman, “I’ve been doing this for 15 years, she’s not going to tell me how to do my job.” That kind of arrogance and lack of accountability was enough for me to walk away. Three days later, the salesman followed up with an updated quote and admitted that, in fact, I had been right—there was a mistake. Despite my hesitation, I decided to give them another chance because transparency is extremely important to me and I hoped this was an isolated issue. I returned to the dealership, signed the finance paperwork, and drove off in the car. I wasn’t thrilled that the dealership rebate was applied as part of my down payment—it artificially inflates the purchase price—but I was told that’s just how they process rebates. Then, two days later, I received a text from the salesman stating there was a “problem” with the paperwork and that I needed to return to re-sign everything. I asked for specifics—what documents were being changed and why—so I could review them in advance. After several hours with no clear answer, I finally got a response asking me to email someone else because the salesman was "out of office." I started looking at everything and discovered that the wrong VIN number had been put on the paperwork. Let me be clear—I didn’t know the VIN number when I was signing the paperwork. That level of mistake is completely unacceptable. A wrong VIN number affects everything from registration to insurance to warranty. It’s not a small clerical error—it’s a critical mistake that should never happen in a professional dealership environment. To anyone considering buying from Hawk Mazda: do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. They may throw out a good price upfront, but it comes at the cost of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism. More

I did my homework before heading to the dealership. As I entered the building the manager immediately greeted me and asked how he could help me. I told him I wanted to the new CX-50 and he directed me to a salesman named Raul. Raul also greeted me and asked details on what I wanted to see. After discussing options, he grabbed a few keys and told me to follow him. He showed us two different models and we even took them out for a test drive to compare. Once we made a decision, we sat down and talked about financing options. We came to a consensus and agreed on the deal. I highly recommend Raul and the seamless, streamlined sales process at Hawk Mazda!!! More
