UPDATE to previous review: Randy, the GM, is the man and came through on everything, made everything right and went way above and beyond your normal customer service, especially these days. Not only did he fix all 3 issues, the speakers, the tire, and replaced the battery, but he also had someone drive almost an hour to pick up the loaner he lent us. This is huge since we have a newborn baby in the house, so making a 2 hour round trip anywhere is tough. Couldn’t recommend this dealership and especially Randy any higher than 5 out of 5, I’d say 10 out of 5! We Bought a used Honda Odessey mini van from Nelson 2 months ago, we were told if we had any issues with the vehicle in the first 3 months they would cover it. Unbeknownst to us, the mid and back speakers in the van don’t work. So we called them up, since it was in the first 3 months to have them fix the issue, but unfortunately for us, they told us they wouldn’t fix the issue but we could bring it back to them and we could pay them to fix the issue they should have covered since it was within the first 3 months or at the very least should have told us on the front end before selling us the vehicle. We feel mislead by their policy of being able to bring the vehicle back in the first 3 months and having it repaired and at the worst case, the classic bait and switch and not disclosing to us about the speaker on the front end. I previously posted a negative review of Nelson Mazda in Murfreesboro, TN. In response, the General Manager, Randy Dismang reached out and asked me to contact him. At first, I did not want to, but my daug Murfreesboro, TN. In response, the General Manager, Randy Dismang reached out and asked me to contact him. At first, I did not want to, but my daughter was very interested in one of the cars they had listed. As a father, I will do anything for my children in an effort to keep them happy and safe. Mr. Dismang persuaded me and my daughter to come in and talk to him, stating that what I experienced is not typical relations at Nelson Mazda. Long story short (and that is not meant in disrespect) Mr. Dismang did everything within his power to rectify the situation. He went far above and beyond to mend the relationship, helped us find an even better and safer car for my daughter and made sure that every possible detail was covered beyond any and all expectations. In the long run, he secured a return customer for service and future purchase. I would never have predicted that I would be leaving a positive review when this began, but after meeting Mr. Dismang and subsequent random employees, I feel that Nelson Mazda customer service is far beyond my initial experience and now would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or pre-owned car. From the moment I started speaking with Jeff he listened to what I was looking to purchase. I told him what I was interested and never once did he push me towards any other vehicle or even color option. Ver to what I was looking to purchase. I told him what I was interested and never once did he push me towards any other vehicle or even color option. Very customer centric approach and I respect that. Nothing about the experience was stressful I would actually say rather exciting. I found myself during the downtime of the process speaking with the parts department about possible options after the purchase of the vehicle. I will have to even mention while I was at the parts department counter and Dakota was away for a minute to get a labor qoute someone in passing even asked if I been helped. I appreciate how it feels that each employee cares and helps with all customers and not like others dealership where employees claim customers and they don't want anyone near them. I appreciate everything Randy does for the Murfreesboro Nelson Mazda location. He does a great job with his employees and its seen by how they are treating the customers. More

Was force fed a warranty and told the at the lender wouldn’t approve the loan without the warranty. Wasn’t given any info on the warranty and told to take a photo pf the ad so I’ll know who to call if wouldn’t approve the loan without the warranty. Been waiting on cancellation paperwork for six weeks. Temporary tag expires next week and they haven’t filed for it. I sent four email requests asking for a conversation with someone in leadership to express my concerns. Was told he Randy Dismang, the general manager, that he’s the owner and I cannot speak with anyone above him. More

Incredibly poor customer service, on several occasions. It seems like they just hate being honest. They sell used cars without disclosing that parts of it are damaged (couple of photos of the vehicle righ It seems like they just hate being honest. They give you the wrong paperwork for registration and say that they don't have the title (of course, they eventually find it). They make repairs to cars without asking for permission, during a routine oil change (obviously, it takes way more time than expected). They send advertisements after being asked for several times to stop doing it. More
