This was our familys second Mazda purchase from Kendell in the last year. He is a professional that makes the vehicle buying process easy by making himself available even in off hours. With a little help from his coworker Christian, we got this deal closed and delivered within 5 days on the exact vehicle we were looking for. First, I’m a busy person, just like everyone else, and this morning was no different and instead of scheduling my oil change like I should have, I just drove into the dealership early thinking that it sho this morning was no different and instead of scheduling my oil change like I should have, I just drove into the dealership early thinking that it shouldn’t be a problem to get me in. I could easily rationalize that I am the customer and say that I didn’t have a lot of time and that my schedule was tight, and I just needed to get this done so off I went to Patrick Mazda. I was greeted by the Service Advisor, Joel Marrast, and he began to explain to me that they were booked up this morning and it would be very difficult to get me in, but he’d be happy to schedule me for another time. I was extremely irritated and pressed for time and upset with myself for not doing what I know I should have done, which was schedule the oil change. Joel said that maybe he could get me in at 9AM, so I told Joel that I would wait. I want to say that throughout this time I was very irritated and difficult to work with and even though I was not the most pleasant person to be around, Joel was professional and did his best to accommodate me as soon as he was able to. After a short while Joel came to the waiting area and told me that he was able to rearrange some things and was going to be able to get me in for service. So let me tell you about the service. As you can probably imagine, I’m a “picky” person and I have now been to Patrick Mazda a few times and the service has always been fast, and top notch! One of the things that I find fascinating is that you also get a video of all the work that is being performed on your vehicle along with explanations about what the service technician is doing. How awesome is that! Cool right!? I don’t know how popular that is, but I have never received that from any other dealership. My car was taken care of perfectly and they even washed it for me. I know that it’s always great to read reviews and hear about when things go exactly as planned, but I always find that the reviews that are the most valuable to me are the ones when things don’t go as planned and how a business responds to that. In this case, Patrick Mazda, and more specifically Joel, did a great job in dealing with a rash customer that did not plan accordingly. Thank you, Joel, and thank you Patrick Mazda for dealing with my craziness! I’ll be back again for your amazing service and next time I’ll plan and schedule accordingly. More
