If you are in the market for a new vehicle DO NOT go to David Stanley Chevrolet in OKC!!!!! David Stanley, you should be utterly embarrassed! My husband and I decided to take time off of work and make David Stanley Chevrolet in OKC!!!!! David Stanley, you should be utterly embarrassed! My husband and I decided to take time off of work and make the two-hour drive to purchase a truck we had seen advertised by David Stanley Dealership in Oklahoma City. My husband had spoken directly with the dealership multiple times to confirm details, read through their disclaimer, and we were ready to seal the deal with cash in hand. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a saleswoman who seemed friendly at first. We took the truck for a test drive, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, when we returned to the dealership to close the deal, the atmosphere shifted. The saleswoman suddenly seemed confused about the sale price, claiming she needed to verify it. After some time, she returned with a vehicle printout showing a price that was a staggering $7,000 higher than the advertised price we had seen online on both their website and Auto Trader. We were taken aback and rightfully upset. We showed the saleswoman and her manager the online listings, but they tried to justify the price increase by insisting we needed to provide a trade-in, despite no mention of this requirement in their disclaimer or on the phone with the sales representative when we clearly stated we were paying cash. Feeling deceived and manipulated, we decided to walk away from the deal. My husband even tried to reach out to the General Manager to address the issue, but the receptionist's response was less than satisfactory, promising a call back that never came. As we drove away from the dealership, a huge sense of disappointment lingered. It was a frustrating and disheartening experience that left a sour taste in our mouths. This incident will be reported to the Better Business Bureau to ensure that others wouldn't fall victim to such shady business practices. David Stanley dealership, with their misleading tactics and lack of integrity, should indeed be held accountable for their deceitful behavior. More
