Just bought a used Toyota Camry (pre-owned as dealers like to call it) from Herb Chambers Honda in Westborough MA. It was an unexpectedly good experience. I saw the car on the internet and called for an appointment to test drive it. When I got there they had the car ready and gave me the keys to go for a ride. I really liked the car. The buying process was pretty smooth. Shout out to Perkins Louis, the salesperson. He was exceedingly helpful and bent over backwards to see that I was satisfied with the sale. A warning: Herb Chambers does not negotiate on used car prices (at least that's what Perkins told me). But I had done my due diligence (e.g Kelly Blue Book) and the price was reasonable. But we did negotiate some work to be done on the car to satisfy me (a new battery, brake work) which passed their inspection but I felt were marginal. I also got them to cut and program a second key/remote. They even checked to see if my old license plates would pass state inspection. They wouldn't, so they ordered new plates for me from the Mass RMV and canceled the old ones. Now I almost NEVER do ratings or write reviews, so, if you believe me, I do recommend getting a used car from Herb Chambers. More

Perkins was the worst salesman. Disinterested in helping us. Tried give us $5,000 less for our trade in so we’d have to pay more out of pocket. Kept saying there was only 2 CR-V in stock when the website sh us. Tried give us $5,000 less for our trade in so we’d have to pay more out of pocket. Kept saying there was only 2 CR-V in stock when the website showed at least 9. He was just trying to sell us the more expensive model. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership or salesman to anyone! This is the last time we will ever lease a Honda! When the car was ready the next day he faxed the wrong agency for my car and kept lying to us saying the car would be ready in 45 minutes when it too until 5 pm for it to be ready! Perkins should not be employed for Honda or any other dealership! Worst experience ever! More
