Hi Brandon, We’re sorry to hear you feel disappointed and we understand how frustrating it can be when expectations aren’t met. That said, we’d like to respectfully offer some clarification and share the full context. At no time did anyone at our dealership state that the vehicle you inquired about was physically on the lot. We clearly communicated that the truck was available and in transit from one of our sister stores. You were provided pricing based on active incentives, your X-Plan eligibility, and a $2,000 private offer you mentioned you had— all of which were transparent and honored while valid. You asked for a trade value on a 2020 Ford with 68k miles and an accident on the Carfax (that was not disclosed when you rated your vehicle). Without seeing the vehicle, we gave a sight-unseen estimate based on your self-reported 10/10 condition and despite repeated follow-ups urging you to visit us to appraise your vehicle By the time the truck arrived and we validated the figures, the $2,000 private offer you had was no longer valid — and that was the only change. We honored the trade and our price, your private offer was the one that changed the numbers because it expired, and that had nothing to do with us. This wasn’t a bait-and-switch. The increase was due to the expiration of a private offer you had, not anything the dealership altered. Even so, we brought the vehicle in for you and honored every part of the deal that had to do with us. We even tried to offer more for the trade, however it got turned down, as we were already over allowing. We understand your frustration but feel it’s unfair to place blame on the dealership for the expiration of an offer we don’t control nor we knew it was going to expire (nor you ever mentioned an expiration date) Lastly, we’ve ensured your email is fully unsubscribed from all communications per your request.
