I am a single father raising a 5 year old boy named Macayden. I work late frequently, so my mom and step father help me out with him a great deal. He is enrolled at Sacred Heart in Jeffersonville and we attend church at North Side Christian church in New Albany IN. I sell Fords because it is a product and brand that I believe in. I am proud to represent an American brand that was able to decline tax payer money when it was offer in the bailout. Ford is a HUGE asset to our local economy with 2 plants in Louisville.

I believe in being patient and passive when dealing with my customers. I realize that purchasing a vehicle is a huge decision no one should feel pressured. I try to make the whole process enjoyable from start to finish.
I am very tech savvy. I go over every feature and function in the vehicle I am selling in a very clear process. I also make myself available after the sale for follow up tutorials if needed.

4 words... 4 words to describe Nick, NICK MATTINGLY IS AWESOME!!!!! i went into the car buying experience thinking I’m gonna be forced into something and be uncomfortable. Completely not what happened!! I AWESOME!!!!! i went into the car buying experience thinking I’m gonna be forced into something and be uncomfortable. Completely not what happened!! I came in and Nick greeted my father and I with a great smile and firm hand shake. We sat down and talked about my wants/needs for my car, Nick immediately went to work on his computer looking for my perfect car. I wanted an Mini van and my husband wanted another SUV. Nick found the perfect car that was exactly what we both wanted. I have 3 young children, all autistic and hate being next to each other. Nick found me a 2019, YES A 2019 with only 10,000 miles!! I was extremely skeptical of how this was going to be possible for me. My husband works extremely hard and is also a disabled vet, I am a stay at home mom who has disability for her children and we don’t have a lot of extra money each month. I went into this thinking I would just get a 2010 or newer vehicle that gets us from point a to point B and will last us a bit. Nick made it possible for me to trade in my 2005 Honda pilot that wasn’t worth much of anything and gave me way over what it was worth and got me a down payment I could afford. I almost cried that this was actually happening. I would HIGHLY recommend Nick to everyone!! He is truly a great man and will HELP YOU, NOT PUSH YOU! My father as well has used Nick for many yrs for his cars he’s needed. It speaks volumes when you find a car dealer who actually cares about what u need and not so much the commission they get off my buy. Nick will now be our go to guy for cars! Next will be my husband for a new car. More

Got my new red vehicle!!!! When I walked in the show room with Nick Mattingly past a big white pick up truck, I saw a bright red ECKO Sport setting there. It had almost all the things I was wanting in my new vehicle. Nick explained everything possible on the vehicle. My grand daughter was with me and what technical thing I did not understand....she did. He showed me two other similar red ones on the lot and also an Escape. I had planned on looking at an escape for awhile, but comparing it to the ECKO Sport....I new the one on the show room floor was for me. Nick explained everything. Was very patient with me. Answered all my questions. Something I was really dreading turned out completely the opposite. Thanks so much to Nick for getting me through the process. More

No pressure, right price I hadn't planned on buying a car on the day I went to Carriage Ford. But I found the car I wanted and Vanna was able to get the price down to what I w I hadn't planned on buying a car on the day I went to Carriage Ford. But I found the car I wanted and Vanna was able to get the price down to what I was willing to pay, so the new Escape was parked in my driveway 2 hours later. I know I can expect good service because I have bought several cars from Carriage over the years. More

Best by a Country Mile! I can't say enough about our experience at Carriage Ford! We had two vehicles in mind before walking onto the lot, a 2018 Escape and a a 2018 Edge. Ni I can't say enough about our experience at Carriage Ford! We had two vehicles in mind before walking onto the lot, a 2018 Escape and a a 2018 Edge. Nick promptly walked over and asked if there was anything he could help us with and answered any questions we had. We compared both vehicles, inside and out with no pressure from Nick. Ultimately, we decided to go with the Edge and I couldn't be happier. Whether it's sales, finance or service I highly recommend visiting Carriage Ford for all your vehicle needs! More

Great expierence of purchase of Focus 2014 I called about a Focus I seen on the internet. Nick Mattingly promptly called me back. So by the time I got To the dealership I can enjoy looking at the car without having to ask all the questions.After the purchase of the car he explained everything in very detail with my car. New car lease I contacted Nick at Carriage Ford about early end for my SUV because of no getup power.So he call me I already knew my choices was between Taurus or I contacted Nick at Carriage Ford about early end for my SUV because of no getup power.So he call me I already knew my choices was between Taurus or a Fusion my colors were Black white or red. Pleasant car buying experience! My husband and I were in the market for a slightly used small to mid-size SUV. After visiting several dealerships and viewing many SUVs, we purchased a 2017 Ford Edge from Nick Mattingly at Carriage Ford. Nick was very helpful and knowledgeable, but not pushy. We feel we got a good deal and Nick clearly explained a lot of the technology that was new to us "oldtimers". We definitely recommend Nick to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle! More
