I took my truck here to be put on the scanner. The service representative said any diagnostic fee would be applied towards the estimated repairs. My truck was never put on the scanner and I was told I would have to pay for a second diagnostic fee. They misdiagnosed my transmission as a bad torque converter and then refused to deduct the diagnostic fee towards the repair. I asked specifically several times for the results from the scanner. I was told that they never put my truck on the scanner which is what I had initially requested in the first place. Upon discovery of the diagnostic fee not going to be applied to the job I promptly took my truck to another service provider. The new shop put my truck on the scanner and diagnosed a series of catastrophic issues with the transmission. I replaced the transmission with a GM certified factory warranty. When I called the service manager at Castriota named Nick he refused to listen to me about the misdiagnosed torque converter and the fee for said diagnostic NOT being deducted from the repairs. At one point in our conversation he told me that I was "all xxx%#@ up". Very un professional. At no point did I get the service I requested (scanner read out) but was given a misdiagnosed bill for two diagnostic fees for $400.00. BEWARE of Castriota Chevrolet in Hudson Florida. The service manager Nick has zero concerns for the customer and even likes to use profanity with customers 🙄 More

This was quite possibly the worst customer service I have experienced. My vehicle is 2 years old. A 2020 Tundra with 29k. I purchased this vehicle after my last vehicle, a 2015 Silverado, began giving me a myriad of problems. While I owned the Silverado, I brought it in one day for an oil change and alignment. When I left that day, the alignment was worse than when I arrived. I was told it was possibly due to belts inside the tires or hitting potholes. The alignment was only slightly pulling prior to arrival that day. When I got home, I called and spoke to Dan who said it was likely due to being older, tired and the belts inside being worn or broken. I inspected the wheels and one of them was missing all of the weights. I should’ve learned from my previous experience but clearly I did not. Now, wanting to give the dealership a second chance, I went back again for the same thing. Oil change and alignment. The alignment was only slightly off but I wanted it done before it got bad and the tires become ruined. My appointment was 5/23/22 at 1pm. I arrived at 1245. My truck was taken back on time. At 345, I had yet to have any updates on my truck, so I decided to inquire. Cathy Davidson told me she would find out. About 5-7 mins later, I was told my truck was missing a part and it could not be aligned and it was still on the rack. She told me I would need to leave my vehicle and the part that was needed to align the vehicle would need to be specially ordered. If a part was missing and/or broken to begin with, the alignment, and the caster/camber would’ve been off more than just a slight pull for a 2 year old vehicle. I asked her to have the techs put the truck back together and I would need to come back, as well as what was being explained to me did not make sense. There were no also loaner vehicles available. It is not feasible for me being a single father with one vehicle and in need transportation to leave my vehicle, especially having little to no time to make arrangements. Cathy explained to me that she had been busy and was consumed with other tasks. Mind you, this did not appear to have been the busiest of days. As I was leaving, the steering wheel had massive amounts of play in it and the caster/camber of the tires was compromised. Nearly 200 miles later, the part arrives and I come back for service. My two front tires are now severely worn down prematurely and they have less than 30k on them. The tires are Michelin LTX A/T2 and are excellent tires. After 90 minutes of waiting for this to be fixed, I was informed the service manager Nick Galida ordered the wrong part and I would need to leave my truck…again. I was offered a loaner vehicle this time. I left my vehicle. Just now, I was told my truck is finally ready and there is nothing that can be done for my inconvenience or the premature wear on the tires. The tires have clearly visible areas on the outside of the tread form cupping and the caster/camber being off from when it was originally taken in for service on 5/23/22. Now I’m left with 2 ruined tires and have been inconvenienced for the duration of this mess. Horrible, just absolutely putrid customer service. I will never bring my vehicle here again, I hope this also deters future people who are in need of service from going here. I will never purchase a vehicle here again and I will absolutely never recommend this dealership to anyone. Please, save your time and money. Find somewhere else to go. More

While there I mentioned to the service adv Dan that the interior power outlet wasn't working. He made a federal case out of it and advised that he didn't know if this was covered under warranty. My lease is under 2 yrs After being there for 3 hrs with no update or communication I asked Dan to bring the truck to the front I had it and just wanted to leave. He said that was not possible because the they were halfway through the problem my husband overheard this and flared up at Dan and all of a sudden it was covered under warranty. After talking to Nick Galida which proved to be no different then the rest, told me there were 4 miles of wire and they had to do a diagnostic test which was now overed under warranty. I really believe this is a RIP off. I really feel they are ripping off me and GM also. Someone should look into this . The Castriota Team claim to have so much integrity. They dont know the definition of the word. By the way, the power outlet in question turned out to be a fuse. That's the reason car dealerships have such a bad reputation. I guess at the end of my lease going by Catriota chevrolet and hello nissan. More

"Covered" repairs cost $240 & issue remains On April 14th 2020 I brought my Chevrolet Cruze in for repairs that were covered by Chevrolet under a bulletin. After doing the covered repairs the t On April 14th 2020 I brought my Chevrolet Cruze in for repairs that were covered by Chevrolet under a bulletin. After doing the covered repairs the technician said that the vehicle was still "running rough" and he would need to do some diagnostics. SIX HOURS LATER, the only thing they could figure out was that I had "Bad Gas". It had 20% Ethanol (according to them) and that I must have accidentally put in some E85 Fuel on accident. I KNOW that I did not put in the wrong fuel. The station that I went to does not even cary E85 fuel and they had no other reported fuel issues. They suggested that I let them drain the tank and refill it (expensive option) OR fill it with "GOOD" fuel and let it run through the system. I went with the cheaper option. When I picked up the vehicle however it was running fine. In my opinion, there was nothing wrong after the covered repair. They charged me $240 for the diagnostics despite not having any sort of computer readout or anything to show the 20% Ethanol nor were any other repairs performed or suggested. After posting a bad Google review the "Owner" replied to contact them to try and resolve the issue. Ther Service Manager has always refused to listen AND refused to pass me along to the next person up the chain. The "General Manager" I talked to, took basic information, discussed it with the Service Manager, Talked to me again, said she needed to talk to the Service manager again and would call me back... She never did. NOW, less than 400 miles later, my check engine light is on again. I had the codes read and it is the EXACT SAME ISSUE (as listed on the Bulletin) as I brought it to them with. Despite them doing the "Repairs" they REFUSE to stand behind their service and re do the repairs that they OBVIOUSLY did NOT do properly in the first place. The Service Manager is smug and arrogant, the General Manager showed little to no interest in trying to even really understand the issue, let alone resolve it. More

Very Bad Customer Service I purchased a new 2015 Silverado from Castriota. I had to take my vehicle back for a re-call order, while I was there I had them look at my wheels, th I purchased a new 2015 Silverado from Castriota. I had to take my vehicle back for a re-call order, while I was there I had them look at my wheels, that the top coat of the wheels is coming off and the medal looks like is rusting... THESE WHEELS AND TIRES WERE A $2700 option. Castroiota personnel stated that they will help me if I paid ANOTHER $1400. I refused so now I have a 2015 Silverado with 19,250 miles that looks awful with these wheels. Will I do business there again xxxx NO if just one person reads this and goes someplace else to purchase their new vehicle, that would be super great because that's one less steak that Castrota personnel can put on their grill. NO STARS More

Felt like I was being scammed !! Prior to writing this I did try to contact the owner. I even sent a message via Face book.. On December 30 I was visiting from Alabama to Hudson Flor Prior to writing this I did try to contact the owner. I even sent a message via Face book.. On December 30 I was visiting from Alabama to Hudson Florida to see my family. At approx 10:30 my check engine light came in along with my traction stabilization notification. I google the issue first and knew it could be fixed. So I took my vehicle to Castriota Chevrolet which was right around the corner from my family. I told Veronica "Ronnie" Mace what the issue was and she said she would call me as soon as they could fix it. About an hour later Ronnie called me and stated that I needed a new engine. She said the engined has failed. Ronnie told me that it would cost almost $7,000.00 for a new engine and she could have it in two hours. She also said they have some new vehicles on the lot as well. I drove back to the dealership and spoke to Ronnie again. Ronnie said that they could not fix the engine and it was too far gone.. I immediately called the service department at Billy Lawrence in Eufaula Al I spoke to Allison and Edwin. Edwin asked me to find out what cylinder was shot. I asked Ronnie and she said #1. Edwin knew immediately what the problem was and had to fax Castriota Chevrolet the corporate bulletin number 12-06-01-001a. Ronnie and her service guy looked baffled. The took the faxed paper work and went into the other side of the service dept. Ronnie stated I would need a valve cover as well and it would take a day to get. I said " It is amazing how you can get me a new engine on two hours, but a common part like this is going to take a day or so ? ". So to sum it up . They did fix the issue. It did not cost me the $7,000.00 for a new engine either. I really feel that if I was not such good friends with my local dealership. I would have had no choice but to believe what I was told by Castriota . I did pay the $847.40 that they charged me. On a side note. Filing some complaints today. One with Chevrolet out of Detroit and the Better Business Bureau and the Fair Trade Commission.. I really feel like you tried to scam me because I was from out of town. So either your service dept. does not know how to trouble shoot and find out what was actually wrong with my vehicle or you tried to take advantage of me ? More
