Worst buying experience I’ve ever had purchasing a Mercedes Benz. I’ve been driving MB’s since 1984. Found this vehicle on Auto Trader with 38k miles, CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) car. Made a deal with the salesmen, asked for a contract and they added $799 for an interior protectant that I didn’t approve. Went up and down the line and was finally told that it was already on the car, which was a lie. Liking the car, I had the car shipped to KS, where I found that the console was scratched so bad I had to replace it at $400. Huge gouge in the rear back seat and both front seats were scratched so bad I had to replace the leather in both. Bottom line is that I spent $3,000 to get the car presentable. The standard canned “We take pride in our vehicles and are sorry you had a bad experience,” is total BS. Do some research and you’ll find dozens of issues like mine. These guys are unscrupulous and dishonest. Stay away and save yourself some grief and aggravation! More
