I recently purchased a used Grand Cherokee, and both Nick and Casey went the extra mile to get the deal done. However, it was after the deal was completed that the poor service became apparent. During the and Casey went the extra mile to get the deal done. However, it was after the deal was completed that the poor service became apparent. During the test drive, I showed Nick that the vehicle was pulling hard to the left, and that it was wandering all over the road. When we got back to the dealership, he supposedly took the vehicle back to the service department to have the alignment redone. I told him that I could just bring it back, since the service department was getting ready to close. He insisted that it be done at that time, and within 10 minutes the Jeep was brought back around. Being in the auto repair business for 40 years, I told him that there was no way possible it could have been done that quickly, but he insisted that it was. After the purchase, it still had the same exact issue driving home. I returned a few days later, and Nick took me to the service department and introduced me to Jim Loveland. I explained the situation, and was told that I had to make an appointment, and they were 3 weeks out. I agreed to the time, but was then informed that would be a charge for the alignment, even though I purchased the $3000 extended warranty, and complained about the problem(that was supposedly corrected) before I took ownership. I explained that the Jeep was certified pre owned, and asked if the alignment was part of the inspection process, and he responded no. I made the comment that since I had to wait 3 weeks and pay for it anyway, that I may as well take it to my regular repair facility. He stated that it was fine with him, I can do whatever I want. I was also told by Nick during the test drive that the vehicle got 4 new tires and brakes all the way around as part of the certification process. When I showed Nick that the brakes were not new, he did not even apologize. He said that he can only tell me what he was told? The first day I met Nick and Casey, they seemed like pretty stand up men. They actually said that they enjoy working here because the dealership stands behind their products, and do whatever it takes to take care of the customer. Even though Nick knew that I was not happy when I left the dealership, there was no follow up call made to me to rectify the problem. Before I made the purchase, he called me 3 times a day to make sure I was still interested, so he has my number. I feel that they do stand behind their products, until the dealership gets their check. As a side note, I did take the vehicle to my repair shop, and the RR toe angle was off 1.5 degrees, and the front total toe was out .5 degrees. Even though I did have to pay for something that should have been covered for free, I least I know it is done correctly, and Jeep rides beautifully. More
