It took a month before they could bring my car in, I needed a loaner. It took them FIVE weeks to diagnose my car, which should have taken a quick google search. Water in the wheel well... google it.. needed a loaner. It took them FIVE weeks to diagnose my car, which should have taken a quick google search. Water in the wheel well... google it... problem is clogged drains in the sunroof. Then it took another 8 weeks for them to get parts (which I understand, chain supply issues) and fix my car. During this time the windshiled on the loaner cracked from a pebble that spread like the omnicron virus. They charged me the cost, $550 for the window. On top of that they wanted to charge me upwards of $3,700 to fix. Corporate stepped in and reduced it by $1,600. But I was still not satisfied. They took 15 hours of diagnostic testing (five weeks) to figure out the problem, the whole time they were making the problem worse by water testing the car when they could have GOGGLED it! My car sat in a service bay like a lost puppy in a shelter for months. I even checked on it to make sure it was still there. After negotiating the cost down further when we finally picked up the car, we paid under $1000 including the window replacement of the loaner. I am happy they made good on what should have been at the most a one month service stay, instead it was three months. And we thought the service manager was arrogant. But his boss was much nicer. Bottom line, I will not go back to Lincoln of Wayne. They used to be so much better. Also, my check engine light has been un since I picked up my car two weeks ago. I called corporate. More
