Lower cost than neighborhood mechanic My 2005 Sienna has been serviced by a local mechanic shop for the last 8 years because 1) it's 2 blocks from home and 2) I thought their prices were m My 2005 Sienna has been serviced by a local mechanic shop for the last 8 years because 1) it's 2 blocks from home and 2) I thought their prices were much lower than Toyota's service dept. When I needed the timing belt, water pump, and spark plugs replaced, my mechanic's quote was nearly $2,000. Due to the specialized nature of the repair, I gave Oakbrook Toyota a call for a quote. Not only was Toyota's quote lower by 25%, Nate McGhee in the service department helped me out with a coupon that reduced the price by another 5%! Thanks for an awesome job and great service. More

Bad battery 2019 Camry that battery keeps dying after 2 weeks of non-use of car. The battery is a no-name brand battery. Was told by Nate McGhee that it's norma 2019 Camry that battery keeps dying after 2 weeks of non-use of car. The battery is a no-name brand battery. Was told by Nate McGhee that it's normal for battery to drain in 2 weeks of non-use. So is the expectation that after you come from vacation, your car won't start? That doesn't sound right. I think it's just a case of a cheap battery. Nate said the wait would be about 1 and half. After two hours, was told the battery needed 1 more hour of charge. How can the battery need charging if the car starts? Came home, installed another battery and charged the one the car had for 3 hours. Will see if the other battery I installed will die in two weeks like Nate said batteries do. At the end, I suspect that the dealership just doesn't want to replace the bad cheap battery. More

Excellent Service on my Two Vehicles Had both my vehicles complete their 25,000 mile services yesterday. Also had a recall taken care of.
