‼️Buyer Beware‼️ I’m writing this review to warn other buyers about a very deceptive practice at VW of North Tampa. I purchased a truck from this dealership and was charged almost $4,000 for two warran buyers about a very deceptive practice at VW of North Tampa. I purchased a truck from this dealership and was charged almost $4,000 for two warranties, which were listed on my paperwork as “accessories.” I repeatedly asked multiple times if these warranties could be removed. Each time, I was told they came with the vehicle and could not be taken off. I went forward with the purchase because I genuinely love the truck and I still do, but something didn’t feel right. I contacted the warranty companies directly, and they informed me that the warranties actually come with the vehicle for free and that there should have been no cost at all. I immediately contacted the dealership. Over the past two months, I have been run around nonstop, despite being told over the phone, via email, and through text messages that the warranties would be canceled and the money refunded to my lender. As of today, that has not happened. Because of this, I have filed formal complaints with: • The Attorney General • The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (Dealer Compliance) I have also attached a photo of my proposal so others can see how the warranties were misrepresented as “accessories.” Please be very careful when reviewing your paperwork here. Ask questions, read everything line by line, and do not assume anything “comes with the car.” Learn from my experience and don’t fall for it. More

Terrible customer service and communication from the GM down to sales. Disorganized and a mess in every department. My trade sat for 11 days with no notification to VW finance, I left with a vehicle and wa down to sales. Disorganized and a mess in every department. My trade sat for 11 days with no notification to VW finance, I left with a vehicle and was not told there were contingencies on the loan. This was all done at the end of the year to get the units in. Very shady operation. They mixed up the vin number and I signed on someone else’s car. I had to navigate the entire process and follow up too many times to count to buy a new vehicle. I will never step foot in this building again. More
